Kedai Kopi Ah Song Bak Kut Teh — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I've been a regular at this place for more than 20years. The quality of the Bak Kut Teh (肉骨茶) remains the same since the day I've discovered this place.

With the love of pork knuckles and ginger stew (猪脚醋) I have tried many places but nothing beats the flavour and umami of this dish here. Totally recommended

Not only so, the stir fried pork intestine (炒生肠) flavour and aroma cannot be described by words as it's really good. This dish is totally recommended to try as well.

Continuing with, the dish egg foo young (芙蓉蛋) the fillings are given generously. The fluffiness, smoothness and the aroma of the onions with the eggs is on a whole new level.

Last but not least, the sambal belacan water spinach aka kangkung sambal belacan. The belacan is homemade by the family themselves which leads to no preservatives of the belacan. I will say that, they have its own unique taste of the belacan compare to other restaurants.

In conclusion, the dishes above is what I would totally recommend towards all of you to try. I believe that you would wonder about the prices of the dishes above. I could confidently say that the price over here is very reasonable and affordable with the quality and value of the dishes...

If you're looking for a nice comfy dinner place, this is definitely the place, nothing fancy but good quality food & service as always!

The bak kut teh here is not bad but the helping is pretty small which an adult with reasonable appetite could easily finish and still be wanting. We ordered and shared among the 3 of us its peppery soup bak kut teh, the black sauce version and biased ginger duck, all in single person portion.
