I’ve been eating at this dim sum shop for over 10 years, and it’s still my all-time favourite place for a satisfying and authentic dim sum experience. The food is consistently delicious, freshly made, and served hot—just the way dim sum should be!

From classics like har gao (prawn dumplings), siew mai, and char siew bao to their crispy yam puffs and chee cheong fun, everything is packed with flavour and made with care. The variety is excellent, and there’s always something new to try alongside my favourites.

The staff are efficient and friendly, and despite the usual weekend crowd, service is always fast and smooth. Whether dining in with family or taking away for a treat at home, the quality never disappoints.

If you’re looking for a trusted spot with tasty dim sum, great variety, and that nostalgic “home feel” of traditional Chinese breakfast, I highly recommend this place. A true gem that has stood the...

Summary: Not Recommended, FAIL. Details - Of my many many "cari-cari makan" (looking for) dim sum adventures (my personal survey), this shop looks promising (crowded) but FAIL MISERABLY to my standard. Calibration by Char Siew Pau, Siew Mai & a random dimsum... FAIL. Why? Too salty (all three)... I am sure 1 full dim sum meal will meet the salt daily requirement. Char Siew Pau - doesn't taste like it, very little filling, little meat. Dim sum... bland taste.

Well, well, well... This is my first & last visit. Sorry, their blend doesn't agree with my taste bud. **EPILOGUE: Visited this shop against advice of old uncle from Cheras. I guess I must try to be certain....

Read some of the reviews and I thought I’ll try out this place. Came with an open mind. Ordered the usual dim sum fare. Siew Mai, Char Siew Pau, Lo Mai Kai, Brinjal and Chee Cheong Fun. The Siew Mai was stale and hard. Tasted bland. The Char Siew Pau was not fresh and hard. No need to elaborate on taste. The Lo Mai Kai was ok but a bit too oily. The Chee Cheong Fun was also not fresh.

Only thing that I was ok with was the Chinese Tea. God, it’s the last and first time I will come here.

There are other better Dim Sum in town. My take, don’t come. At least you won’t be disappointed.

Didn’t take any photos for this review. Not worth my phone camera space.

Verdict :...

look at the short film I posted, how much water they have added into the kampong Koh chilli🥲. All I can see is a dodgy merchant trying all their means to reduce cost of operating by doing all these little tricks sacrificing the food quality. Taste was pretty average or maybe below average. They use minced prawn in their prawn dumplings, so we won’t notice the prawns in there are not fresh. Not the all time best dim sim I had. If you want good price adjusted quality dim sim, you should try travelling further to Fook Hing or somewhere else, pricey but at least they are being honest and willing to give you the best quality.

One of the worst dim sum I've ever had. Everything I ordered tasted extremely bland. The salad prawn was fresh, but tasted odd. Egg tart had another dish taste mixed into it somehow. The dark sauce was excessively salty. Couldn't finish my food at all. Worst part is it's not particularly cheap, at Rm27 for the amount in the photo. It's a shame, because all the staff there was friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere was also really nice. Nice place to sit, but unfortunately, not a nice place to eat. 10/10 for staff, 10/10 for atmosphere, 2/10 for food. Improve on your recipes and you'll have a perfect restaurant.

It's used to be good. Then average. Now it's bad. Quite bad. It's prices has gone up but that's ok. But the quality has dropped drastically and the size of the dim sum is much smaller. The dimsum served wasn't even steaming hot. The siewmai and hargao was small and disappointing. The lohmaikai was below average. It shouldn't even be sold. The only saving grace is the wu kok and fried siam meehoon. Don't think we will be back anytime soon. Or maybe not at all
