Subject: Poor management and slow service at the KFC Lotus's Extra Selayang outlet:
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the appalling customer service and mismanagement I experienced at your KFC Lotus's Extra Selayang outlet on 22 May 2024.
I visited the restaurant around 7:45 PM and was dismayed to find that there were only 3-4 people ahead of me in the queue. However, despite the relatively short line, I was forced to wait nearly 30 minutes before it was my turn to place my order. The female manager on duty and the other staff members displayed an alarmingly indifferent attitude, seemingly unconcerned about the long wait times and growing frustration among customers.
When I finally reached the counter, I was informed that the spicy fried chicken I had requested was sold out, and that I would have to wait another 20 minutes for it to be prepared. Needless to say, I was deeply disappointed by this unacceptable delay and the staff's overall lack of urgency in addressing the situation. Hence, my family (including two starving children) and I left there in no time.
As a loyal KFC customer, I expect a much higher level of service and efficiency from your establishments. The prolonged wait times, combined with the manager's and staff's apathetic demeanor, left me feeling disrespected and dissatisfied with my dining experience.
I demand an immediate investigation into the management and operations of the KFC Lotus's Extra Selayang outlet, as well as a formal explanation and apology for the poor customer service I encountered. I would also appreciate some form of compensation, such as a voucher or discount, to make amends for this distressing incident.

First order. I ordered in their kfc apps and the apps stated will deliver 30 minutes later. Then I waited 1 hour. We purposely drive to the outlet and looking for my order. Then the staff told me no delivery service only self pick up but the app stated how many minutes my order will arrive, but just delaying.
In my second order. The staff attitude is not professional and rude. We ordered and asked to change the drinks to ice lemon tea. The staff quickly told us there are an extra Rm 2 needed to add on and right after she told us, we quickly let her know we do not want to change if that so but she ended up not waiting our confirmation and filled up the ice lemon tea. The taste of the fries is not even, some fries are extremely salty. Waiting them to send our food is extremely long, they won’t send even the food is ready very long. Have to claim ourself then only they pass the food to us.

Stranded due to a flash flood on the night of 13th October, which left us with no option but to have dinner at Lotuss, my experience at KFC Selayang was nothing short of excellent.
The chicken was the freshest I've had in a long time, and everything else on the menu was equally fresh and well-prepared.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the store manager. Although I didn't catch her name, she is an Indian lady with a plump figure and a wide, welcoming smile. Her attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experience was pleasant were commendable.
Overall, the improvements at KFC Selayang are evident, and it's clear that the team is working hard to maintain good standards.
