KFC — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Disappointed with the Pickup Service.

I ordered pickup to avoid waiting too long, but I ended up waiting almost an hour—defeating the whole purpose. I could literally see my order nearly done, yet it just sat there while I kept waiting. When I finally got my food, only the loaded cheezy fries were actually not ready yet. It’s ridiculous how long it took just to prepare fries. If it takes this long for a simple pickup order, I can’t imagine how bad the wait time is for people ordering in-store.

Terrible service, completely disorganized, and not worth the hassle. This KFC is always short-staffed. Every time I come here, there are not enough workers to handle orders efficiently. It’s no surprise that the service is so slow because they never seem to have enough staff to keep things running smoothly. At this point, they might as well just close the store if they can’t hire enough staff to run it properly. The service is unbelievably slow, and it’s clear they’re not managing things...

Parking is super hard to find. Youre lucky to get one. Sometimes some ulat parking will ask for rm1 for parking, up to you to pay them

The service is on the ground. Small counter with few tables. Service is quite slow but acceptable. You order & collect at the same counter (i hate the new kfc system where you order and given a number to collect at different counter. So messy)

The chicken here is big. But tastes somewhat funny (maybe just the particular one i had) Not as fresh. Still juicy tho. Ive had worse where the chicken is so dry felt like it was prepared the day before. The mash potato gravy is runny and lighter color. Not as flavorful.

More seatings on 1st floor. Refer images. Could seat 100pax here.

Bonus: they have The Star paper on the counter you can borrow.

Bonus 2: ordered parmesan truffle crunch. The cheese smell may put some people off. The parmesan was given separately in a small container. A novelty but i wont...

Today's visit 17/2/2023-Friday at KFC Medan Idaman was unpleasant because until 10.07am, the restaurant still didn't seem to start operating. This is because the entrance is blocked by Kun Lantai Licin (yellow color) sign... The restaurant is still closed/not yet ready to start operating. Actually, this is a recurring thing because I experienced something similar before🤔😏

I am blown away by the service I have received so far & am even more proud of the McDonald's Restaurant next door as it is much better with a digital ordering system and friendly and welcoming service. Well... KFC has always been...
