Overpriced. Mediocre food. Fried beef tongue tasted like just marinated beef and the lady explained it was because they used the back section of the tongue which is meatier.

Beef tendon stew didn't have tendon in it, tasted like just regular beef meat. Didn't bother asking since they might just say they use the meatier part of the tendon.

We also ordered the beef sukiyaki. The pot came with dirt stuck at the bottom. Upon heating that bit started to bubble, like melted plastic. When questioned, the staff said its normal the bubble will come out of the empty iron pot when heated. It's iron, where is the sticky bubble coming from? She kept saying 'it's normal some things come out because it's hot' but did not answer how anything can bubble out of an empty iron pot when heated. Eventually she changed it after we insisted. She cooked and left us alone without explaining the dishes or the sauces after.

Another waitress was also loudly complaining to us that they were busy that day. We do feel for her, but for a meal that cost us over RM700, I don't think this is the appropriate level of service. I would expect staff to be more courteous and soft spoken at such establishments. Instead it was havoc and staff were rough and very loud. We also don't need to hear of complaints about how busy the restaurant is. If it is that busy and your team isn't able to handle it, maybe just don't take our reservation? We could have gone elsewhere. I'm actually surprised they are under the same management as Shin Nihon, which is much better and has a more pleasant dining environment. This is my first and...

Love the privacy and u can laugh as loud as you can inside it .. and won’t be awkward keep taking pictures like budak kampung Can park vallet parking for free as its already covered by them… I didn’t use it because don’t want other people to drive my car and hygiene concern . As usual took 20 minites to find a parking spot as its always crowded .. After the meal we had a massage just below the shop , what a wonderful experience clearing up bank account hahaa

Service slow , after putting menu on table, no proper instructions given. Waited for 20min in the room for someone to come in, but no one came. End up going outside to the cashier to call someone to help us in taking our orders only to receive a QR CODE for self order. After ordering, food came on table BUT no proper instructions on how to properly cook & eat the meat, ended up not really enjoying our meal for the self cooked meats . But for the other dishes we ordered, was nice especially the sushi and seasonal wagyu sushi. Before coming here, I mentioned for birthday treat and they mention is complimentary icecream but during the bill payment, they charged me for the icecream when I asked the staff, they said the birthday icecream is matcha icecream but this icecream they serve is parfait is different… 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Shouldn’t I be getting a consent beforehand on this? But is okay, we waited very long overall between each food arrival process and was so lost as no waiters could see our confused face & we ended up having to ring the bells few times to get their attention. Anyway the parfait they “ self order “ for me was nice, recommend to try. So I’m fine paying , even tho is rm26 for it 😬. Overall spent rm700 , service charge was ex but didn’t really receive any service...

I came to visit on my birthday and was having quite a high expectation due to its well known reputation online and through friends. However the quality of the wagyu was a little underwhelming. As a group of 4, we ordered 2 omakase sets, potato fries, two pax sukiyaki sets, 1 sushi platter (9pcs) and 1 hand roll. Overall I enjoyed it, the memorable ones are the wagyu sushi from the omakase and the fries. I have tried many wagyu places and I believe the ones they serve here are more towards chewy texture, less fatty parts given with the sets. Sukiyaki soup was way sweeter than I expected but I really enjoyed the meat and the vegetables provided. One thing to mention, this set comes with 2 pcs of bread, which looked like pork belly and has a texture of a tofu that has soaked in soup for ages HAHA this is something really new to me the service I received was top notch, the lady was very outgoing and informative, dealt with our messy orders in a very organised and attentive way. my friends who have been here couples times did also commented that the wagyu sushi were not as great/impressive as before and we were not quite sure if it’s the quality or that they have gotten used to the taste.

Great manager with a lot of staffs in this restaurant. Went there on a Sunday night and the experience was great. An area that could be improved is the speed of serving our food. Our orders came too fast that we could not even taste one dish properly and the other one is already up. This has caused some dishes to be cold after a while. The manager explained that previously their serving speed was too slow and got complained as well. Then, the premium sirloin (180 g) that we ordered was overcooked - do remind the chef your preference. Besides, it is quite difficult to get a parking around this area. Do have patience while searching for one. Our favourite dishes of the day include: - Hand rolled sushi in Japanese seaweed with 4 kinds of luxury toppings (sea urchin, salmon roe, crab meat and raw wagyu); - Extra thick cut beef tongue; - Scallop and urchin steamed egg custard; - Wagyu and seafood claypot rice. The prices on this menu are slightly on a high side but it was worth it. One should really try this, especially during a special occasion. If only the dishes could be served on a normal speed, the whole dining experience would be great.
