Mamak Jalan Midah 8 — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Surprisingly this one and only simple Indian stall serves one of the best Indian chicken curry in Kuala Lumpur. It actually put those big or well-designed Indian/Mamak restaurants to shame. Whenever I am around Taman Midah, I make it a point to have an early Indian chicken curry rice lunch at this humble set-up. Usually by 10.45am the appetising and aromatic Indian curry would be ready. I enjoy my lunch with piping hot curry and rice. This stall has an array of other dishes such as fried fish, fried chicken and other normal Indian vegetable dishes. But my favorite is still the chicken curry with cut pieces of potatoes in it. Price for curry chicken rice lunch (which includes a plate full of rice, 4-5 pcs of cut chicken + a few pcs of potatoes & generous amount of hot irresistible curry) with a glass of teh O limau ais is less than RM10. My favourite mamak stall. They serve one of the best mutton curry in thick gravy ... perfect combi with the humble white rice. Usual mamak servings such as varieties of roti (biasa, pisang, telur, planta, sardine, tisu etc), Indian mamak rice and dishes (fried chicken, vegetables, bitter gourd, curry chicken etc), fried noodles (maggi mee, bihun, special etc ... and extra spicy if you like). The boss very calculative and bad service. We eating for many years and support because of the sos(Kuah Kambing ) was very nice, without the kambing meat just the sos, the boss said cannot just take the kuah must take together with kambing. What are the such service provided. We eat aslo not cheap one nasi + ayam goreng + Sayur + papadam + Teh-0 swam = RM 12.00. Can't provide kuah without kambing.
