A Satisfying Lunch for Seven at Meat One Cuisine • Menjalara

Our party of seven recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at Meat One Cuisine in Menjalara, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience with some standout dishes.

For starters, the Thai Tom Yum Seafood Mihun was a definite hit. It was incredibly tasty, boasting that perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory that you look for in a good tom yum, and the seafood was fresh. Highly recommended if you enjoy a flavorful noodle dish!

We tried two of their chicken chops, and while both had their merits, there was a clear winner. The Special Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce was unfortunately a bit too oily for our liking, which detracted slightly from the otherwise decent flavor. However, the Mongolia Chicken Chop was a delightful surprise. It was uniquely different and incredibly tasty – a truly memorable dish that we would happily order again.

The Golden Cheese Pork with Mushroom Spaghetti also earned a thumbs up from our table. It was a well-executed dish that was "not bad at all," offering a comforting and flavorful option.

Even the burger managed to impress, being described as "not bad as well." It's good to know that even their more casual offerings are of a decent standard.

A great bonus for families is that Meat One Cuisine also offers a kids' menu, making it a convenient spot for a meal out with little ones.

I hate to review after tasting only lamb chops and steak but i had to give my 2 sens, with the hope they improve. Food taste was underwhelming, both plates were bland, lacked depth in flavour and would have benefited from proper cooking/charring. The meat was tough and uninspired, and with food served in 10 mins, its likely to have been cooked earlier and microwaved rather than freshly prepared. This kind of business model is great in a busy office district, where diners had limited time and need not return to office with food/oil smell on their clothes.

As for drinks, we ordered honey lemon and lemon tea, but neither lived up to their names. There was no noticeable taste of honey or lemon, only slices of lime.

Table was not cleaned properly and when alerted, the waiter took a piece of tissue and wiped off the food debris. I have the habit of washing the utensils and hands before and after meals, so i frequented the washroom at least 3 times and bumped into at least 1 waiter in there, each time i went in, and the 2 cubicles were always occupied.

On a positive note, the portions were reasonable and the pricing was affordable. Menu offers wide variety of selection. Aircond was great vs the sweltering 35 deg outside.

We came for a quiet birthday lunch. Found out during this review that they do offer a discount voucher and free dessert for the birthday person. I asked hubby whether we should go back to try other food in the menu this week and claim the freebies but he declined....

The lighting was soft and warm, creating a cozy, intimate feeling. One of the most important factors when dining out is value for money, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the overall experience were all worth the price. It’s clear that the restaurant takes pride in offering both excellent food and service, and I felt that my meal was worth every penny.
