my Burger Lab KL East Mall — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

PLACE: This was my first time trying MyBurger Lab. We weren’t sure what to order at first as we browsed the self-service menu. Then, a very attentive and helpful staff member named Mirul approached us, explained the menu, and recommended some options based on our likings. The place was clean and suitable for enjoying a burger meal menu.

MENU:

• There’s a variety of options, including beef, chicken, and mushroom-based burgers if you prefer something vegetarian. The signature burger is Chuck Norris, but we chose the Shrooms burger because we wanted something spicy (although it wasn’t that spicy). • Overall, I liked the burger because it was unique and not like a typical burger. I especially liked that the bun wasn’t soggy or oily! • They also offer free-flow sauces ( the sauce tastes like Nando’ s hehe) onions, and pickles at the eatery, which is a nice touch. • I recommend getting a set meal if you want a side dish, as the individual prices can add up. • The staff also suggested we try the deep-fried mushrooms, and they were really good! 👍🏼

PRICE:

• However, I think the prices are a downside. The burgers are overpriced for some of the menu items, including the side dishes. The burger itself isn’t that big for RM20-30+. • I might come back occasionally, but wouldn’t consider it as my-go-to...

I went here with my family because my sister just got her first paycheck so she planned to buy us lunch. When we were there,there wasn't a lot of people (which I prefer) and the place looks clean and nice. I don't like burger very much but since my family wanted to go there, I was okay with it. I ordered the kids meal because the normal set seems too big for me. I was pleasantly surprise by how good the food are. The burger portion were definitely worth the price. The fries was amazingly well-fried and delicious. It's rare to see those kinds of handmade fries. The drinks paired well with the big food portion.

Might I add, the packaging design for takeway was adorable. Kudos to whoever designed the packaging. The staff was friendly too despite us just just ordering from the machine.

This is to whoever is trying Burger Lab for tre first time, use their website to order because thee might be vouchers that you can use.

10/10 Definitely would come back to try other items...

First time trying out burgerlab… since it’s their first outlet this side of town. Heard of them when they were pretty famous in PJ, but too far to venture from this side of town.

Bottom line, was it worth the wait? lol… not really.

It’s because, now we have lots of players in this niche and they are as good and better.

Nevertheless, I had their Chuck Norris burger, which had a generous amount of pulled beef upon a burger patty and their trademark melted crispy cheese, and black buns. - Tasty, but lacking in veg IMO.

Will choose something else next time where I can taste the burger more, but yeah they warrant another visit, cuz their menu is extensive enough for several tries.

Their sides are a tad pricy for what you get. Nacho’s are daylight robbery, get the fries… at least, or the mash…
