It is part of the Bukit Tabur and the Klang Gates Quartz Ridge network and this park is home to rare endemic species of trees, herbs, palms, shrubs and forms part of the world's longest quartz formations. One can experience the biodiversity along this park with nature's beauty that hosts a wide variety of monkeys, birds, insects, reptiles and amphibians. Experience the flora and fauna and sounds of nature and the breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur from the lookout point. Benches are plenty for resting/break time.
Book your free hiking slot within 72 hours of your planned hike and if driving, park at the KL East Mall or the Sales Gallery and walk less than 10 minutes to the entrance of the park with your QR code. Once you have entered the park, immerse yourself with the surrounding elements and bond with mother nature. You will stumble upon the serenity of a mini waterfall. Be captivated by interesting spots through the hiking trail that winds around the forest. Proper attire and footwear is required for the hike and you need to follow the park rules to stay safe.

Oh yea residence no need booking , raining cannot enter , no booking cannot enter and the best a loop only 2.5km last no proper parking just park by the roadside
The instruction to the park was very unclear so it's very hard to find if first time
No. 1 First navigate with gps to KL east park it will navigate you until an uphill that been block so before the uphill there a traffic light park at the mall or the outdoor parking.
No. 2 walk over the red barricade and continue follow a covered walkway until end and suddenly you see a dead end with a small brown gate.
Walk down a scary passage way until you reach a check in booth.
You are required to book your date and time from their website and the admin will approve or reject your request.
If success you are required to show the QR from your email to the security at the entrance to scan and also when exiting
I went it was raining so they do not allow you to enter if raining but from entrance it's looks quite beautiful.

Read moreExtremely short trail. Nothing much to do that the peak and there’s not much of a view as well. It’s uphill for the first five minutes then rather flat pathway on the way up after that.
The pebbles pathway are also a safety hazard for those wearing hiking shoes as it reduces the grip. Would definitely recommend wearing regular sports shoes if the weather has been hot and sunny for the past few days. On the day I went, it rained heavily at midnight so the muddy soil part works well for my hiking shoe.
The plus point is probably the fact that there are cleaners and security guards patrolling in the park so the path are really clean for beginners. (Not for me as I love hearing crunchy leaves sound while hiking) With the maps scattered around, it’s nearly impossible to get lost and there’s a loop trail as well. The outer part of the trail is really hot during the day as there are no shade so do take note if you were to do a loop trail.
