Super Saigon KL East Mall - Pho Beef Cafe — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent dining experience at your establishment. While I was initially understanding about the delay in receiving my food, what followed was quite disappointing. After a considerable wait, a waitress brought a dish to my table, only to take it back moments later, saying it was meant for another customer. I then saw the same dish served to another table. Shortly afterward, the waitress brought a different dish to me — but I noticed that it appeared to be the same food previously served to the other table. This raised serious concerns for me, as I believe my food may have already been touched or handled by another customer. I immediately asked for a fresh replacement. However, within seconds, the same waitress returned with what appeared to be the exact same dish. Given how quickly it was brought back, I have serious doubts that a new meal was prepared. I find this unacceptable, especially when it comes to food hygiene and customer safety. Their signature beef soup noodles are a must-try. The broth is rich, the meat is juicy, and the flavor is spot on. I also highly recommend their marinated BBQ pulled beef which is tender and full of flavor.

Other menu options include Vietnamese spring rolls, beef fried rice, and beef kuey teow. For drinks, don’t miss out on the Den Dam milk coffee or the Buttercream latte. Both are incredibly tasty.

The restaurant seats around 40 people, with a modern blue and white interior design that matches their brand identity. The location beside the skating rink makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal with a view. Definitely worth to visit.

Been here many times as I really like the restaurant and this franchise is closer to home. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu here but the must orders for me are the rare sliced beef pho, minced chicken spring rolls, shredded chicken pho and vegetarian pho. One interesting note, the broths for the beef, chicken and vegetarian phos are all different. I usually ask for extra basil leaves, lime wedges and side orders of fried tofu and half boiled egg for my pho. Add those with a couple of big dollops of the sate sauce and I'm good to go. I would give this place a 5 star rating but the taste had been somewhat inconsistent. I hope they can improve in this matter. A shout out to Ira who was serving us the last time I was here as she was friendly and attentive.👍
