Food was good. Like really good at least for the food i ordered. Came with 5pax. Initially we ordered carbonara and pesto. Unfortunately the waiter said it is unavailable probably due to the 3 days festival holidays where markets are closed and raw ingredients are abit harder to get. Fortunately the waiter came back and informed us that they have enough to make 1 portion for both carbonara and pesto.

Food was great. The seafood char kueh teow was awesome, flavourful with the wok hei taste, evenly tasty and so satisfying. The seafood given was fair where there were 2 smaller prawns plus 1 larger one that you can see ontop of the dish served on the traditional banana leaf to give that classical feel. Eaten with chopped cili padi further enhance the flavours. We ordered two sets one less spicy and another spicy both arrived at the same time.

The Creamy Penne Pesto Chicken with Shimeji Mushroom was awesome as well where its creamy and full of pesto and basil taste. I love it as well cause it really brought out all the taste together with the soft and nicely done Penne.

Next is the curry mee. Pretty standard to me with a balanced taste.

The drinks is just average to me like the sirap bandung with soda. Cant really taste the soda.

It is simply food like this when done into perfection makes the experience really complete and satisfying.

I like that they had many waiter and waitresses to juggle the busy second day of Hari Raya. They are attentive to detail and quick to respond to your request.

Overall i love my experience there and will definitely come...

Subject: Feedback on Recent Visit to Your Restaurant at KL East Mall

I would like to share my concern following a recent visit to your restaurant at KL East Mall. I encountered some difficulty placing my order as one of your staff members a Bangladeshi gentleman (dark-skinned) appeared to struggle with communication. He seemed to have limited understanding of both English and Bahasa, which made the ordering process challenging.

Fortunately, an Indian female staff member stepped in to assist. Her approach was impressive she communicated clearly, understood my needs, and handled the situation with confidence and professionalism. Her ability to step up, solve problems, and assist customers effectively reflects strong leadership qualities.

I strongly recommend that the restaurant's management consider promoting her to a any Leader position. Her decision-making skills and customer oriented attitude could greatly contribute to enhancing your service quality and overall...

I brought my parents to Serai bcos i tried the klcc branch which was good, so i had high expectations. We had the nasi kerabu, serai platter and nasi campur serai. Everything was good however the veggies in the nasi kerabu wasnt enough in my opinion, too little for a big portion, the nasi kerabu rice was also quite wet/sticky. Apart from that my parents loved the food. For the drinks we had iced mocha which was fine, serai blended which my dad liked and for the hot honey lemon, the honey was not enough so we asked for the waiter to add a bit more, to which the waiter didnt hesitate to assist so thank you so much for that. Everyone who entertained us were such angels, very helpful especially the staff Jazreen who went the extra mile to make sure that we had a great experience there (and we did!). My parents were eager to dine in again next time. Overall great experience, good food, great ambience....

Food here taste not good at all. Only deco and vibes matters. Hong Kong Kailan bland. Steam fish too sour. Too much lime make it taste like lime ice water. Disturb the taste of fish also. Squid petai belacan also too sour. Didn’t expect it to be sour so much since its cooked belacan. So surprised about the taste and petai also doesn’t have much inside. Only some pcs of it. All of our food taste not good as the 2 of main dish too sour. With the price like that, I didn’t recommend to eat here. Much better eat at Thai restaurants. Servicing too slow. Veggie comes first, after that squid and rice. Lastly, fish come. Order ice water and it took 9 minutes to have it on table. The most problematic is their staff cannot speak malay neither english. Hard to communicate. Even we speak fluently they did not really understand.

1 star deducted because nasi dia macam tak cukup masak, like jelatah. Suruh manager tukar, still nasi mcm jelatah. However, i would like to compliment the manager’s etiquette when serving the customer, when we asked him to swtich the rice that tasted like jelatah, we complained to him that it still tasted like jelatah after swtiching the rich. He offered to switch to nasi lemak rice, serai rice or kerabu rice with FOC. but then we declined bcos we already ate halfway through our rice, so he recompensated with an ais kacang cendol free of charge. I didnt know what’s his name but he is from Bangladesh. In my opinion, the steamed fish is so so, tho i would suggest you guys to order the serai specialties menu, i think that is the higlight of this restaurant, not thai food.
