I recently had lunch at this nasi kandar restaurant and was left thoroughly disappointed. I ordered nasi kandar with kuah campur and was surprised when the server asked if I wanted sambal. I said yes, and he immediately added two pieces of squid to my plate, which ended up costing me 12 ringgit per piece! This has never happened to me before at any other nasi kandar restaurant.
I usually avoid ordering squid at nasi kandar places because I know how expensive it can be and how often the texture is subpar. This experience unfortunately confirmed my suspicions. The squid was not worth the price at all.
Beyond the squid incident, the food in general was just okay. Nothing about it made me feel like I'd want to return. I would honestly rather travel further to Pelita near KLCC, even though this place is much closer to my home. Pelita offers tastier food at more reasonable prices.
Overall, I cannot recommend this nasi kandar restaurant. The food is overpriced and underwhelming, and the service left me feeling like I was taken...
Read moreIf you're around Cheras and craving a good meal, you have to check out Nasi Kandar Stadium! I came here for iftar with my Canon group, and it was a fantastic experience. It’s a halal mamak restaurant that really hits the spot, especially for dinner.
Their Nasi Kandar is absolutely the highlight. The kuah campur was so delicious, rich, and flavorful — it made every bite a joy. The ayam bawang was another winner, tender and packed with taste. Honestly, every dish we tried was tasty and satisfying.
The place itself is cozy with a nice atmosphere. The ambient lighting and simple but neat decoration make it feel very welcoming. It’s clean too, which always makes a big difference. The toilet facilities are just average, but manageable. Just a heads-up, there’s no surau available, so plan your prayers accordingly if you're coming for a long meal.
Overall, it’s a great spot to chill, eat, and enjoy good company. Definitely a gem for Nasi...
Read moreMy dad bought 2 rojak and mee goreng. When he got home, I saw that the rojak in both boxes are very little compared to in the restaurant. Please do cheat old people who are your regular patrons. The Owner!!! Manager!!! Please make sure that your workers who handle and prepare the food ordered do not cheat!!! I have also encountered the same thing twice before when I bought the mee goreng… tht was online purchase thru GRAB. I thought tht it was just because of GRAB order it was like that. Please be more systematic and have a way to make sure that it’s always about the same amount. Perhaps you should ensure tht your workers weigh the ingredients used in order for them to be more alert and sure of the amount to be on each plate. My mom loves the taste of the rojak but we really felt cheated looking at the rojak in the box. PLEASE...
