I, an unassuming first-time guest, am amazed at the popularity on a Thursday at 5pm (opening time). The queue for dining in has two employees and multiple QR codes to ensure a smooth check in process. The separate queue for take away is managed by another two employees who rang up my order with such speed it conjures visions of a certain American chicken drive thru known for efficiency š if you know, you know.
Of course, the last thing on the menu is chicken. For the disappointed, hungry soul who canāt find (plant) food at a row of food stalls, the menu covers the entire street. Tomyam, curry mee, mihun, char kway teow, bak kut teh, char siew, and Malaysiaās beloved nasi lemak. Good luck choosing. For those who have never eaten meat, you have no idea what anything on the menu taste like. I recommend your meat-loving partner order for you. Luckily, I brought my southern Georgia sweetheart. Heāll probably order char siew, because one never regrets BBQ. šŗšø

Sadly, all these spur the ego of the staff to the extreme of asking us to vacate a table next to us when in fact we were already there minutes earlier to secure seats for 8 of us. That I could forgive the servicing staff. The unforgettable part is when I was approached outside the restaurant,.. yeah...past the main entrance outside in the walking footpath that wrong change was given to me and she, the counter staff, asked to inspect my wallet. This enraged me but I am a nice polite person so I admonished her publicly in front of other passerbys that I didn't bother to look at the change after I paid and it was real rude and unthoughtful of her to come running out to the client to rectify the mistake she incurred herself. My suggestion to the management is to replace her with someone quick at mathematics and someone's else that emphasizes on the sizeable measure of experience in retails and place importance on clientele satisfaction and expectations of what...
