As of currently the staff there are excellent in their service to the best of their ability. They are friendly when not under pressure (especially the night shift) and will cater to your requests.
The food itself is usually good, but sometimes lacks a bit of consistency (in terms of the fried foods). The tandoori and naan are excellent, I particularly recommend the double cheese-naan. Their natural drinks are simply amazing to me. Very refreshing and well-balanced.
The stalls in the mamak and near the mamak (satay, shawarma, sweets, ramly burgers) offer a wide variety of local and foreign food to try. The satay in particular is one of the best I've ever had, I definitely recommend buying from the family running it, very sweet people.
Take my judgement about local food with a grain of salt though, as I am not a local so I'm not very knowledgeable...

Afterwards at the counter, I was still charged for two sets, which was corrected once I objected. But that isn't the sole reason for this rating.
After the lousy experience with the roti jala, I ordered Maggi Goreng.
It was a disaster. I couldn't taste the maggi seasoning and there was chilli sauce in the mix! This is unacceptable standard for Maggi Goreng. Couldn't bring myself to eat such an abysmal dish served lukewarm. That's when I proceeded to the counter.
I regret...
Read moreI studied in UCSI (nearby). In almost evening I went to this restaurant. I always order the lamb. It is the best. I haven't taste anything better in my life except their lamb. Their lamb is just so fantastic. It's very tasty. I kept on craving it back in my home country (Indonesia). I miss Al Mashoor. I remembered those days where I went with my friends in the middle of the night to watch footballs and ordered Sirap Bandung. If I ever go back to Malaysia, I would definitely go to Al Mashoor. I hope the server still remember me. They know me. They know what I will order. I just want to taste their lamb once again. Oh I really miss...
