I love almost every dish they serve, especially the fried shrimp rolls and the chicken feet. No dim sum experience is complete without chicken feet, and this place nails it—the flavor is hard to describe, but it’s absolutely delicious. Of course, they also offer the classic dim sum dishes like siu mai, har gow, and chee cheong fun, and everything tastes great. The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for affordable dim sum. As for the service, it’s nothing to shout about, but at least when you call for the staff, they do come. They seem pretty laid-back, often chatting with each other, but they get the job done. One thing I appreciate is that the chili sauce and mayonnaise are self-service—you can take as much as you want, which is a nice touch. The environment is decent, not too dirty, just fine for a casual meal. Overall, while I wouldn’t say this place is a must-visit, it’s definitely a great spot if you’re looking for good,...
Read moreWas around the Kepong neighborhood after helping a friend move an item in his house. So we decided to have dinner at Ful Lai, a dimsum place that's been operating at the area for many years.
Quality of food still the same as always but of course price has spiked so much since I last visited.
They've also renovated the place to have an aircond dine in area which is nice. Went on a Sunday around 530pm where it wasn't crowded and parking was fairly easy to find.
Particularly love their char siew pau. Fluffy and warm pau and delicious char siew filling on the inside. It had a distinct pepper taste which I really enjoy.
My favorite dimsum has got to be the stuffed egg. Not exclusive to this place, it's my favorite must-have at any dimsum place and this place does it really well.
A good meal shared...
Read moreA late night dinner was satisfying food n price wise Almost fully patronized. Bright light with clean n tidy tables spaciously laid out with plenty of space in between even an elephant can walk past. As for the floor, no trash being seen, a rare sight indeed. Toilet well kempt with the best designed simple basic common sense concept ever seen. The kitchen crew was viewable through a wide window. Nothing seemed exhausted even at this late hour with service crew busy handling food n customers. It's a good place for ( dimsum) lovers. How good is the food here the size of customers' patronage at this late hour is a significant sign, or at best come...
