I recently visited this restaurant and had a love-hate experience. One of the highlights was their Green Salad With Grilled Chicken Fillet Salad, which I can’t recommend enough! For just RM12.80, you get a nutritious and well-balanced breakfast.

The chicken breast was tender and well-cooked, served warm with a delightful flavor. The salad greens were fresh, topped with sunflower seeds and paired perfectly with their sesame dressing. It’s a low-fat yet filling option, ideal for anyone looking for a healthy start to their day.

We also tried the Kaya Butter Toast White Bread, which was pretty good. The bread was toasted to a crispy perfection, and the butter was served cold, complementing the rich and flavorful kaya spread. It’s a simple yet satisfying breakfast choice.

Unfortunately, the hot MK drink was a letdown. It was excessively sweet, even after adding water to dilute it. We could barely finish it. I hope the restaurant can adjust the sweetness level or provide more customizable options for drinks.

What really dampened the experience was the hygiene issue. During our meal, we noticed a small cockroach crawling on a chair, which was quite unpleasant. This made us cut our visit short. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves its cleanliness, as it can significantly impact the overall dining experience.

Overall, the food, especially the salad, is worth trying, but hygiene improvements are essential for a...

The charcoal kaya butter toast especially the texture (not hainan style) is always nice and never fail me. Their dried curry Wan Tan Mee is a must-try as defined by me! Followed by the hainanese chicken chop (comes with healthy stalk vege). Their hainanese chickenchop portion is relatively small but that comes as an advantage to me, which makes an additional set of my favorite charcoal toast bread just nice. They serve good teh ais, YinYong and white coffee too, but must remark with less sweet. I just can't handle their standard level of sweetness for these drinks. Staffs there are all nice, attentive and helpful, refer to below for my recent experience. In summary, It is a very nice place especially for afternoon tea (not crowded inside and more parking space). The following was a wonderful experience i had in my recent visit: The ambient was cold that I made an additional order of a glass of warm water towards the end of my meal. The waiter on the floor actually approached me and offered shifting me to another BIGGER table that located further away from the a/c. This offer came to me despite I was ALONE, that warm water being my remaining 'food' on table and it was during the peak hour (lunch). . If 'service'is a relative term, then this cafe really stands out in this regards. I've been to many other cafes where bigger tables are served for FUTURE bigger group...

Food quality rather said pretty poor. Either overcooked on the vegetables or undercooked on the potatoes😌.... please don't order fries, it seems like undercooked or cooking from the air fryer, even request by frying again, ended up overcook on the color, yet texture is seems quite bad, obviously not frying from the deep fryer I guess..

Order for plain water ended up serving us with food, seems like wrong order was taken by the waitress. Best part after long waiting, called for checking few times also taking ages to be served. Best of all, it has been charged 2x of the plain water (Rm4) by only serving 1 plain water to us though.

To be frank, if asking me worth of returning back, answer is not worth it at all. Unless otherwise if the improvement on the quality of service and food, else wont be returning back.

Tried for their signature coffee, not fancy at all...taste...

Located in Bandar Menjalara Kepong, near the Menjalara Park (Taman Tasik Menjalara), this restaurant is a middle unit of a row of shop lots. The tables are spaced quite close to each other, and it does not seem too wheelchair friendly. The tables and utensils are clean and new. Ordering is via online ordering system and payment is expected upfront. Orders are delivered pretty fast. In their menu they offer, noodles (wanton noodles and beehoon), rice and chee cheong fan. The pork ball wanton noodle is average. The porkballs are a bit on the small side. They give quite a few in the bowl however. The soup is well flavoured. The noodles are not the type in which is like. There are ample vegetables in the soup. The matcha taufu fa is not bad. Balance of sweet from the sugar syrup and bitter from the matcha. Overall, food is decent. The dessert and beverages are overpriced.

This is one of the nicer local eateries to go to if you'd like a break from the usual cafe fare. The Hainanese chicken chop was tender and well marinated, pairing well with the sauce, which the kitchen was kind enough to give more of. The salt and pepper chicken rice bowl was really tasty which was surprising, given how it looked normal and unassuming. It had a bit of a nice kick to it, with the flavours working well together, and the portion was decent too. The only complaint was that the polo bun somehow arrived very squashed and, personally, with not enough butter. While the barley was the usual standard drink, the coffee was rich and a good wake up call. Overall, a clean and spacious place to get an affordable and decent meal really quickly, so would want to return to try the other dishes on their menu.
