This is one of my favourite places to eat pork noodles! They have chicken rice, curry noodles, and wantan mee as well. I like this place a lot because their food portion is just nice for me and the pricing is reasonable too.
Why I like their pork noodles? Firstly, the broth itself is sweet and savoury making it effortless to finish the broth down to its last drop. They also include pork balls, minced pork, tender pork slices, and also pork livers that are very juicy (not dry at all). You get to pick your choice of noodles and savour the porky goodness alongside their chopped green chili.
Their chicken rice is also good, you can opt for the roast or steam variation (I usually go for the steam chicken), and you can add-on a plate of chicken innards (liver & gizzard) as well for a fuller meal. Their chicken is tender and the rice is flavorful. Definitely a bang for your buck.
My husband enjoys the Wantan Mee here. The char siew was juicy and tender (not too fatty) to our liking. The Wantans in the soup were comforting too, and it’s easy to see ourselves ordering another plate! As for their curry noodles, could be a hit-or-miss as the first time we tried it, the broth was a bit on the watery side for us- but they have quite a handful of cockles. Maybe their broth quality has improved since then but I wouldn’t know.
Overall, the staff here are all friendly and their service is good. It’s also much cooler to sit outside and enjoy the food as it can feel a bit dark and warm sitting inside. As far as pricing goes, it’s safe for...
