If one is looking for really good noodle dishes cooked by local chef, then this is one restaurant u must go. Try the fried glass noodles or tang hoon which is excellent. The fried heng wah mee sua is also another dish which u can't get elsewhere. Another dish which I usually don't miss ordering is fried oyster omelette which is really fragrant and an authentic hokien dish. Once u tried this oyster omelette, I bet u will definitely come back coz u can't a dish like this elsewhere. I would say, all these three dishes namely, fried glass noodle (tang hoon), fried mee sua, fried oyster omelette are not to be missed when u dine there. In fact this restaurant had been my favorite haunt ever since and whenever I have craving for noodle food. Only issue is a lack of parking spaces so it's best not to visit during lunch hours. But one can always parked a bit further and take a short walk. Place is reasonably clean...

The restaurant is right beside Sg Batu. The taste is kinda homecook.. Not too overwhelming in seasoning.. If looking for lighter taste, here could be your choices.

The restaurant offered some dishes which uncommonly seen nowadays but was popular back in 90s and 2000s.. Such as fried heng hua mi sua, bak fa chicken (chicken with fish paste), fried bak guo (rice cake), yellow eel porridge..

I believe the restaurant was quite popular among the locals until the develop of mrt which makes the restaurant to be much hidden.

Heng hua mi sua (2 portions) + fried bak guo (2 portions) + bak fa chicken + hai zou (their homemade meatballs) + fried sweet potato leaves + 4 cups of longan winter melon herbal tea + 1 white rice = RM113

Personally think the...

Only the locals, who have worked within or the surrounding areas, can guide you to this place. The food here are reasonably priced and most importantly, delicious.

I recommend patrons to go after their sizzling Japanese tofu. It's really, really good.

Wait time varies depending on the number of people dining at the restaurant. Sometimes, it is quick when you are the only one there. Other times, it can take up to 20 mins for your order to arrive because the restaurant is swarmed with diners.

One thing to note, because it is situated next to a river, you can expect plenty of mosquitos. Despite the restaurant owner placing mosquito coils under each dining table, don't be surprised to see mosquito bites on your exposed...

If you are a fan of Heng Hua dishes, this place has one the best misua Heng Hua style around. Simple yet flavourful dish 👍🏼 Their meehoon was tasty, crab meat balls had plenty of filling and was yummy. And lastly the soup (no idea the name of it though) it was hearty and wholesome. Having in-laws whom are of heng hua descendants it was nice to try out various dishes of the Putian region of Fujian province in China. Worth going again for other dishes that they offer. Luckily it was breezy the day we had lunch there given that our current weather these days are so hot & humid.
