Let me share my experience with this bridal shop:

When signing the package, I was informed that there will be one photographer and one makeup artist/assistant for my outdoor photoshoot. I was informed that they can drive the antique car outside too. But during actual photoshoot day, only one photographer is provided. Which means I couldn't get certain shots that require someone to hold/throw the gown. As for the antique car, I expected them to park it at some grassy field or somewhere with nice background. But I ended up taking my photos in front of someone's house behind their bridal shop, with some grass, tree and shoplot as background. We had to skip all those photos with shoplot as background because we did not like it at all.

Prior to actual photoshoot, I requested to look at indoor studio's background few times but they couldn't show me because studio is occupied. So it is more difficult for me to buy my own gowns without knowing which styles will suit the backgrounds available. When I finally prepared my own gowns and would like to show to them and discuss the style I like, they asked me to show my gowns to photographer on actual shooting day instead. But on actual day, the photographer himself wasn't aware that I am wearing my own gowns, everyone is busy and I am busy with make up too, so I didn't get to discuss about it.

I get to see what are the backgrounds chosen for me only when we are ready with makeup and costumes and standing in front of it. Undeniably, their new studio has gorgeous backgrounds and I like it. But I didn't like the backgrounds chosen for me at old studio and I requested to change. It wasn't so pleasant because lady boss declined my request to change backgrounds and kept persuading me that the photos will look good after editing instead. I had to accept and believe that they are experienced enough and has good editing skills to produce good photos. Unfortunately, the photos from old studio did not turn out nice. Their photo editor's work is sloppy. Imagine people asking whether I did the editing job myself, because it feels like I just copy pasted myself onto some background. I had to choose some photos from old studio because I didn't want to give up on the two costumes using old studio's background.

They did not check my photo album before telling me that I can collect it. I had to visit the shop again to pick it up after they repaired the defect.

Regardless of the points above, the makeup is nice and my photographer too. Because he tried his best to take nice shots with limited resources and he had to rethink and re-prepare on the spot since nobody informed him that I am wearing my own gowns.

It is truly regrettable for me because I cancelled my wedding reception and tea ceremony due to MCO. This pre-wedding photoshoot is the only thing I held on to, because I wanted to have pleasant memories and nice photos. But, it wasn't...

I will talk about my honest experience here, despite the boycott that has been recently happening over Sandiego’s Facebook review.

Initially I didn’t know what to expect from any photoshoot experience let alone a pre-wedding one. My partner and I had very limited time in Malaysia (1.5 weeks) and the Sandiego helped us and my mom arrange the dress/suit fitting, photoshoot and photo selection all within a short span under a promotion package Rm3k.

When we arrived for the fitting session, the staff was very polite and patient with us. Amazingly they had a kua that fit my partner who is 6 foot tall. The dresses are also in good quality and there were plenty of options and colours to choose. I changed my mind on one of the dresses after I went home and Tracy happily accommodated the change without any hesitation. The customer area was clean and comfortable and spacious.

For the photoshoot, we arrived early and the makeup was done with care and professionalism. There were some requests that I made and they happily accommodated my needs. The make up looked natural and I was happy with it. The hairdo was also very well done and professional. They kept checking up on me occasionally whether the hairpins hurts etc.

Our photographer, Henry, was very funny and made us genuinely laugh and smile at each shot. He knew what he was doing and gave specific instructions on where to look, how to bend the body etc. We went to Thea Hou temple and although it was raining, Henry did very well with the photos. He drove us there (extra charge) and I would recommend to use their transport rather than your own to avoid the added stress of being stuck in traffic etc with all your make up and costume. The indoor shoot was also comfortable and they had many nice backgrounds. The Sandiego team tabao-ed chicken rice for lunch.

The 3k package usually includes dress hire for the actual wedding day. However, we are not having a wedding in Malaysia so after discussion with Sandiego, they allowed us to substitute the dress hire with a family photoshoot including basic makeup and hairdo for my mom and sister. The quality of the family photo was also superb.

During photo selection, the team was patient with us. It took us almost 2 hours to choose 22 photos out of 145 taken. They accommodated to my request on their photo editing not to make us skinnier. We wanted a few extra photos to be added and negotiated a decent price at the end of the day.
