Botanica+Co at Bamboo Hills — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

From my first visit, to now becoming a regular of this restaurant, I am absolutely grateful for the team that is running this outlet who has made all the difference for me, and to all our family and friends who attended the wedding on 10 Oct 2024.

We have received praises from our family and friends on the food quality and especially the hospitality of the people who've run this race with us that day. BIG thank you to each and everyone of you, I wish I had all the names written here but you know who you are. All of you are remembered one way or the other for the kindness and service you've provided for all our beloved guests.

Thank you Helmi for going above and beyond - aiding me with many tedious matters during and even after the wedding. I am so thankful to be working alongside a strong leader that believes in what he does and understands the gravity of difference we make in people's path often time lies in the little things so thank you. Thank you for the smile and shine you radiate each and everytime we meet, you never fail to give me that assurance that I am in good hands. You and your team.

Thank you Eric for being such a sunshine of help to our guests - how you've been kind and helpful to our family's needs and assistance during the wedding ordeal and in service. Thank you.

Last but not least, Cassandra. No words could sum up the amount of support and help you have been to me (you've had to step up on short notice!) for this wedding. What you've impacted me, in this whole process is your dedication, your patience and most definitely, your sense of responsibility. You did whatever you could, in the kindest way possible even when its changing things for the 10th time right before the wedding! Thank you for walking alongside me this process, I am grateful that it is you.

To the planning team, Cassandra and Helmi - Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart. And to the whole cast who performed their best and braving the rain to push the furniture, bringing out the cake, got wet, getting things in and out last minute, it has been a MAD adventure but so fun, so memorable because we were all laughing and smiling doing this together. Botanica+Co at Bamboo Hills has a lovely atmosphere.

The lush greenery creates a relaxing and inviting space, perfect for a casual get-together. The service was also very good - friendly, attentive, and fast.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't quite as impressive as the ambiance and service. While everything was edible, I wouldn't say it was particularly flavorful. We shared marinated olives & feta for an appetizer, which was decent. My friends had the fish and chips and spaghetti carbonara, and I had the spaghetti bolognese. While none of the dishes were bad, they lacked a certain "wow" factor. The tiramisu for dessert was just okay as well.

Overall, Botanica+Co at Bamboo Hills is a great place for a nice atmosphere and friendly service. However, if you're looking for a truly memorable dining experience with exceptional food, you might want to consider other options.

Botanica+Co at Bamboo Hills: A Visually Appealing but Middling Culinary Experience

Our recent company birthday luncheon took us to Botanica+Co at Bamboo Hills, a venue chosen for its picturesque ambiance. The setting, as the photos suggest, is undeniably beautiful, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a celebratory meal.

Our group sampled a wide variety of dishes, including the wagyu beef burger, tiramisu, pistachio chicken roulade, spaghetti carbonara, mushroom mafadotte, tsukune ramen, pan-seared salmon, fish & chips, and a set lunch. Overall, the food was acceptable, but nothing truly stood out. While the dishes were presented well, they lacked the depth of flavor that would have made them memorable.

The staff was attentive and responsive to our needs, but their lack of knowledge regarding food recommendations was noticeable. When asked for suggestions, they struggled to provide insightful guidance, which detracted from the overall dining experience.

While the ambiance was a definite plus, the average quality of the food and the staff's limited knowledge of the menu left us somewhat underwhelmed. As a result, while the setting is appealing, we are unlikely to return for another meal.
