Lovely range of fresh seafood. It has got to be the best "fish monger" I've known of in the whole of Malaysia (this is true from my perspective, anyway).
I've only been here once but I've got to say my experience with them is pretty positive. I bought a packet of fresh salmon sashimi (which came with complimentary freshly grated wasabi!) for about RM 25-28 nett.
The only downside is that the location is not the greatest. The shop is only open early in the morning until noon and there's a wet market nearby. Traffic is terrible and so was parking. I swore I almost gave up and went all home from that. Thank goodness I persevered and bought that packet of salmon sashimi. It was so fresh! #noregrets
To all salmon sashimi lovers, do give this place a try. It's value for money, the seafood is fresh and they have good customer service!
P.S. Although I personally have purchased cheaper fresh salmon elsewhere, this is a great alternative when I don't want to go through the hassle of handling...
Read moreThe salmon fishes are the best, FRESH. The cut of salmon is generous.
i’ve tried their sweet scallop and fresh gyoza too. Its definitely worth it, not sushi zanmai, sushi king, sakae sushi or rakuzen for few slices of salmon sashimi. I always buy at least one to two salmon sashimi packs (200g) when I’m back here. (Without fail)
Recently bought also sabah shun feng from the owners, they suggested this fish because of the nutrients..
If you like sashimi, this is the shop to go for, look nowhere else. Unless you want to pay big bucks for the ambience in LOT10, or premium japanese shop for just a few pieces of fish.
If you are hardcore sashimi lovers, get some bluefin tuna or uni, its delicious too! Prebook before you come or pm them in fb first. They can prepare your order for you to pay and collect at the counter. They also sell big scallops, try it and you’ll just...
Read more5-star experience without having to pay 5-star pricing! Fantastic service by the staff especially in answering messages/queries, something one can hardly find nowadays especially in a service oriented industry.
The freshness of their seafood is to die for...have yet to be disappointed thus far and hopefully that day will not come (keeping fingers crossed!). Will continue to patron them to satisfy my cravings for ootoro...must say, one of the very few places where one can find melt in your mouth ootoro that does not cost you an arm and a leg.
Had the opportunity to try their famed Magaki oysters. So fresh and tasty...literally slides down the throat...what a food orgasmic experience indeed!!!
Keep up the good job, Top Catch. Looking forward to more tasty and fresh seafood in the...
