Uncle Don's (Desa Sri Hartamas) — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Having been a patron of the other Uncle Dons located all over PJ, I dropped by with my family to this one for a meal.

In my four to five years of patronizing Uncle Don’s, I have never been to an outlet that gets everything wrong. I ordered a set of two Kronenbourg beers and when it came it tasted exactly like Carlsberg. When I told the waiter about it, he explained that it was a “new barrel” which totally didn’t make sense.

Then came my staple every time I’m at Uncle Dons - spicy bacon pizza. What arrived at my table was definitely NOT spicy bacon pizza but, again, the staff insisted it was.

Then came the fried mee which was totally tasteless.

Overall, it was a real disappointment. The food was bad, the staff were seen arguing with the cooks, even the drinks were totally wrong. I never leave bad reviews, but this one really broke the camels...

Overall an AWFUL experience! We asked what type of burgers they have - they said look at the menu. When ready to order, they said write it down yourself. We ordered 2 main course and a dessert. Dessert came out first, and they said we didn't say we wanted it out last. But isn't it understood that dessert means it's after the main course??? They said customers like it that way. At 9pm, they told us it was the last call. Shortly after, they gave us the bill while we were eating and said bluntly, it's last call already. After we paid, they dragged the metal tables and chairs into the shop. Imagine the noise of metal dragged against tiles while you are eating! We decided not to finish our food and left. Uncle Don's.. Pork chop : minced pork patty with bone Serve with French fries and 1 piece of thin cucumber, no taste watery Pepper sauce Using burger patty as pork chop 😡

sizzling Pork rice : minced pork with bone Fried with chili sauce And all these bone is unable to use mouth or finger to pick out

👆👆👆dog food always serve with bone ?? But we are not dogs 😤

When we complaint The manager told us That is all control by Uncle Don HQ and central kitchen They unable to do anything and they are no choice just follow the SOP to served
