Easily missable amongst the many shops, little did I know that there’s a cozy restaurant along the main road of Old Klang Road serves homey & tasty Western food.
Here’s what we tried:
Brasato Di Agnello (Braised Lamb shank with red wine on a bed of mashed potato) - RM54.90
Pork Milanese (Deep fried breaded pork chop with mixed salad & fries) - RM23.90
Vongole (Pasta with Clams, white wine, basil, cherry tomatoes & garlic) - RM27.90
Buffalo Wings - RM20.90
Wild Mushroom Soup - RM13.90
Overall, we were satisfied with everything we ordered 👍
Lamb shank was so tender, flavourful and packed a punch! The price might scare you a little but if you’ve dined out enough, you’d know that food is not cheap these days especially fresh produces like red meat. This lamb shank portion is big and can easily be shared by 2 persons, it’s a really hearty dish!
The Pork Milanese may look pretty basic but wow it was really delish! The pork fillet was so tender and perfectly deep fried. I was glad they didn’t pour the sauce over meat or else it’d be soggy and not enjoyable.
Vongole was really generous in portion especially the amount of clams. We loved the light and clean taste so it was easily downed quickly. Haha
Place is clean, service is good, staffs are polite and friendly 👍 Overall, nice place to dine at for some homey Western food that won’t cost a hole in your pocket 😉

Read moreTabling/ seating : We arrived at 6.10pm & wanted to sit inside but was told it was already fully reserved for all the tables inside.
The table we saw available was booked for a 7pm reservation.
So we sat outside - it was ok as today was not so hot & humid.
By the time we finished out dinner & sat to chat a bit... The reserved table inside was still available 😂.
Food : Big Portions, something different from the normal standard "western cuisines". My daughter's enjoyed the Sizzling Lamb Chops and Baked Macaroni with Honey Chicken.
I had the Pork Chops - the meat was tad dry so really needed sauce in order to chew it properly. The sauce was a refreshing change ... Orange based.
The Crispy Pork Burger was ok. As it was deep fried, it relied on sauce to make it juicy to eat. Would be more delicious if it was a homemade Pork Burger Patty.
Ambience : So so only being seated outside. They had downlights but they are not switched on or not to be used as we were informed that was the lighting effect of the entire place.
Understand that but it was rather dark by 7.30pm The smaller downlights they had at certain corners were not sufficient to actually enjoy seeing the nice food you're eating for dinner.
Perhaps tea candles would have helped or 1 or 2 Warm Lighting effect would be more welcoming.
Service : It was swift, courteous and polite.
Will come again to try the other dishes, hopefully will get a...
Read moreI’ve driven past Western 8 hundreds of times but didn’t try it until today. I will return! We tried five dishes today and will try more the next time. BBQ Pork ribs (5* out of 5*. My favourite!) Tomato based pasta 4* Lamb shank 3* Buffalo wings 4* Lava cake 4* Service was good. Mynamarese Joel spoke good English and gave good recommendations. He and his team were polite and attentive. I was told that the chef is Sarawakian and that this is his only outlet. I immediately had confidence because (1) the food isn’t from a central kitchen as it’s not a franchise (2) the chef is a proper skilled chef and not a foreign worker just heating up pre-cooked food. I am giving the restaurant a five star rating because it is good value for money. Portions are ample and the main courses (meat dishes) weren’t too expensive. Keep up the good work,...
