We ordered 3 soup bases and they weren't much different from others but their ingredients were all really fresh, especially their dory fish fillet and prawns. One thing I really liked was how thick their pork slices were because the texture was so nice. I think the best part about the restaurant is their service because the crew recommended us quite a lot of dishes, all of which ended up being really suitable to our taste buds and in general they were really helpful and friendly.
I would say go for their service and fresh ingredients (especially seafood!) as their soup bases are the expected types you can find in most places. One good thing about their mala was how they differentiated it to 牛油 (beef broth-based) and the usual mala and the server recommended we take the usual one since most of us didnt eat beef but I think it would have been a treat if you went for the 牛油 (beef broth-based) one since its supposed to be more fragrant.
We didn't order a lot of vegetables (I mean if you're going for hotpot usually green leaves are out of the table 🤪) but we got quite a few tofu-products like 豆皮 and some other ingredients which surprisingly went really well with all of the soup we got as well.
Do prepare to get into your photoshoot moment because the interior design was spot on (oriental vibes with chinese lanterns and wooden deco) so it's honestly a win-win situation for those who wish to eat AND...
Read moreJust back from dinner at this place. We had two different soups; mushroom 🍄 ( recommended) and mild mala( not recommended). Will start with what is good about the place. The service is very good. Polite helpful waiters and waitresses. (5/5) Free flow of oranges ( very sweet and yum) and watermelon slices ( refreshing ) The atmosphere was amazing as you enter. The decor, lighting, layout made it an interesting place to instagram. The iberico pork was v nice The fishball was amazing!!!!
What was not so nice The selection of things to cook. We didn't have the traditional yam bits which we like to add to the soup to thicken it. Both soups were a tad salty. The mild mala version was salty and oily. The sauces available weren't so nice. Much of what we took, we left it as it were after a few dips. V salty.
Would I return? Unlikely. But this visit being my first was a nice...
