I don’t give bad review normally but this time I really can’t! I’ve gave them 3 chances!

First bad experience I saw from fb they still have the 进门抽配菜活动 and it’s end on 26/11/2023, I went there on 25/11/2023 so I asked the staff for this however he said this activity is end. Another staff said you need to write a google review then only can get this complimentary dishes.

Second bad experience We order 1 pot of rice and they served 1 bowl only. We press the bell few times, there is no one assist us. We ask few staff for the rice, everyone said check and check till no answer.

Third bad experience We sit for 5 mins and press the bell, no one served us / pass us the order form, until we raise our hand. The staff gave us order form and said will show us the Xmas set menu, but after he walked away, he totally forgot the Xmas set menu. The fish is served, suddenly they tell us no more rice and ask if we want to change to noodle, we ask him how long to wait, he said 20 mins. We wait more than 20 mins the rice is not serve yet, we asked and another staff told us to wait another 10 mins, we tell them to cancel whole order. They served 2 bowl of rice after we said we want to cancel the order, and balance 1 bowl need to wait another 5 mins. End up wait more than 10 mins for the balance 1 bowl of rice. The fish is overcook and not nice due to the rice issue. We order side dishes, no side dish order has been place. The staff served wrong dish, take back the wrong one and didn’t serve the correct one until we ask.

We understand weekend + holiday will be very busy. But the service really lousy. They not suppose to served the fish if the rice is finished, they should inform customer earlier at least we can decide to continue eat there or change our mind.

Oh ya, the day after dinner I see from their fb post they do have loyalty card, however i went on 16/12, 17/12 & 24/12, my spending amount from RM190-300++, I also never receive this card from them. So what is the certain amount to receive the...

Service wise- Food was fast, i was told that the fish has to be freshly prepare up front and it only took around 20min for the fish to be sent out. Personally thats fast. The waiter was very sweet , will come over and offer to add soup and provide apron for us.

Food wise - Dragon grouper super fresh. The textsure was tender and umami of the passion fruit.f As a person who lovess sourness the flavor was just... mamamiya the passion fruit sourness was just nice for me with a little light spicyness yum yum😆❤️. Little tips order more rice . Its just that good.

Personally its a very chill concept restaurant. I like the warm lighting and the unique fish design of their place 👏 just comfyyy. Atmosphere ♥

Definitely would come back next round for their...

The menu might seem pretty Chinese but it’s actually pretty easy to navigate.

My first time having this meal, there is a novelty to eating fish prepped this way.

Whole fish: we went for the Patin, it is grilled then submerged in a yummy broth (of your choosing). It comes with taupok, shredded potato and enoki mushroom. They’ll add broth for you if you’re the kind who sit and dip. Broth: they are famous for the mala types and you can smell it wafting out as you walk by. We went with the garlic. It was very well balanced. We added : grilled lamb and shrimp paste. The lamb was good. Shrimp paste was a tad salty. For the broth, we got the pumpkin noodles and beancurd role. Drink: we did the yuzu...

Love fish? You’d want to try 喜鱼 XiYu during your visit to Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The Patin Fish drenched in Pepper Corn Grilled soup sauce tasted exquisite and delicious as the soft texture of the meat melts in the mouth. The soup also pairs really well with white rice and their crunchy, chunky XXL You Tiao. The latter is served whole to the table, hanging on a stand, before being trimmed to smaller chunks by the waiter/waitress. The ambience of the restaurant is rather dark and chill, perfect for a celebratory night meal with friends and family, or a once in a while get-together. Would definitely visit again and am recommending friends and relatives to stop by.
