So, I will be that person. The reviews are very high because they give service if you give a Google review.
I ordered a sundubu and a kimchi fried rice (I think only it was the cheapest 2 items on the menu) for a hefty sum of almost RM80. Yes 1 soup and 1 fried rice. They give ONE side of sunny side up fried eggs (I think 1/pax) on a hot plate. No kimchi, no veges.
The tofu soup came with tofu being broken apart (with no rice. Just soup) and the kimchi fried rice was wet and greasy. Both were very salty. (I guess bc a previous comment said tofu soup was tasteless.)
Perhaps this is a place for after drinks or during drinks meal. The price is really over priced for just supper. Other items on their menu varied up to RM 80 for a singular dish (meaning just a soup, a plate of pork belly which by the looks of what I had, is meant for 1 person). Soju is rm 35 ish and beer is 25. They had some special soju as well at rm1xx. (Can't recall)
In summary, disappointing, expensive, not as nice as the other reviews were raving about. If you are just looking for supper, this is...
Read moreMy Korean friend took me here and it was really good, just like he said! It's not a Korean restaurant, but a Korean bar with Korean food.
The food is great, even though it's a bar and not a restaurant. Most things on the menu go well with drinks like soju. It's not fancy, but the taste is authentic, which is hard to find (like the soondae soup!).
The food portions are a bit small for the price, but maybe that's because they're meant to be shared with drinks.
The bar has a nice atmosphere and decorations, and the music isn't too loud. It's exactly the kind of bar I like!
I highly recommend this place for hanging out after work with drinks and some delicious...
Read moreFirst sundubu jigae I ever tried in my life that is so tasteless, and it has only soft tofu in the soup and tiny bits of minced meat, literally tiny until I can't even taste it is beef or pork! and it cost RM45 per pot, too over priced! And the Bossam is over-cooked and so dry, RM95 for one plate. And worst thing is, they don't serve any banchan like other korean restaurant, not even veggie wrap for the bossam. Only complimentary fried sunny side up for each person, and a small plate of kimchi that taste awful after we asked. Sorry to say, first and...
