Possibly the strangest experience in a hotel pool?
My partner and I decided to take a break from our own hotel pool and go to this one. We were told by the lady outside we could pay 50 each and get an any free drink on entrance.
We found out this was only a soft drink - we tried to order a watermelon juice and san pellegrino - and were told we could not order this? lol
They are literally charging more than quadruple the amount for basic drinks here like Coca Cola. (12 RM when 2.5 in shops)
After a long day in the sun and pool, I went to order a glass of wine when I asked for a menu at the pool bar when an extremely rude and arrogant woman in a pink/purple hijab asked me where my wristband was. I told her it must’ve fallen off as it was quite loose.
She responded with well it’s important you don’t take it off this time while placing a new one on my wrist like I was a child. I told her I didn't take it off it har fallen off and she rudely dismissed me and walked away.
I definitely will not be back here, if you are not a guest you are made feel like a second class citizen. You are informed by security to walk a dirty back entrance to the venue like an outcast and not allowed simply walk through the hotel to even go to the shop or use the toilet if the pool ones are full.
The service is outstandingly the worst I’ve ever experienced in South East Asia please spend your money on another resort as this is definitely...
Read moreI visited the poolclub yesterday and loved the place. The entrance is RM50 and a little less for those who stay at the hotel (which we didn't). A towel and one soft drink is included in the price. We spent the whole day here and managed to get sunbeds by the infinity pool. Really amazing pool and no kids (they were at the other pool, which is also included in the price and is also really nice). The atmosphere is very relaxing and it's wonderful to look out over the pool and beach. The restaurant is okay, more expensive then other restaurants but that is also expected in a...
Read moreTo be honest, the service at this place needs to be improved dramatically. We were imposed RM50 per head to rent a day bed. That’s a total of RM100 but it was only inclusive of the day bed, lame list of drinks & towels. That too we couldnt redeem our drinks at the beach bar we had to walk up to the poolside bar. At least including a list of basic cocktails as a complimentary drinks would have made it worth the money. The bar staff were not as approachable or friendly to accommodate accordingly either. Probably best you spend your money somewhere you will be...
