Been here lots of times, and i feel like it’s due the review credit that it deserves.
The environment of the place is calming, with the view of planes arriving and departing. The place is open, so you can feel the breeze from outside and it’s not stuffy. Its a good place for families, friends, groups, or even for those whos coming alone.
Their services here is amazing! Especially Akmal and Kak Ya. Their friendliness and smiles are contagious. Theyre the serveurs, theyre also the bartenders/mixologists. P.S, if you ever order Teh Tarik, ask Akmal to do it, because he makes the most foamy and kaw kaw teh tarik in langkawi.
Last but not least are the food. They offer a wide variety, but limited option. Not that it’s a bad thing for me as it’s lesser time and less confusion for me to choose what food to choose.
For their westerns, i really love their beef burger and fish n chips. The beef patty is juicy and the bun itself is fluffy and tasty. Wish i could buy the burger bun. As for their fish n chips, unlike other places who used dory fish, this place used barramundi. Its well seasoned from the salad, to the fillet, to the fries. Omg and the tartar sauce? Its the bomb. I could eat it with anything. Credits to Chef Cok and Chef Faizal for making the best western food!
As for their malay cuisine, i believe it was prepared by Chef Anis. I’ve never tried any of their malay ala carte before, only during buffet, especially during Ramadhan. It’s good, and whenever i took a bite, it brings me back a memory of my hometown.
All in all, i would go again, not just for the food and the instagrammable place, but the people...
Read moreI had dinner at Temple Tree Langkawi with a few friends tonight, and while the setting was undeniably beautiful, the overall experience left us disappointed.
The restaurant wasn’t busy, with only a few tables occupied (less than 3-4), so we expected more attentive service. Food and drinks are simply delicious. Everything went smoothly until a birthday cakes was brought out at the request of a friend. Unfortunately, the presentation was far from celebratory. The cakes were served by a bitter team member as if it were just another course during dinner, with no effort to create a special moment. To make it worse, the table was not cleared beforehand, which really took away from the occasion. My two friends left disappointed. It supposed to be a celebratory evening.
Given the charm of the venue, we were expecting a much higher level of service, especially for such a personal celebration. Sadly, it fell short of expectations. A beautiful place, but the experience could have been much more memorable with a little more attention to detail and care for...
Read moreSummary: Ambience is great, comfortable location. Food portion is on the smaller side not to add its pricy but it is delicious. There's also very limited food options on the menu.
Speed of food Service has to be the biggest problem for me as it was really slow 😩 if not for this, i wouldve happily rated 4 star.
Food item comments: Nasi Goreng took the longest of all the menu items. Its RM36 a plate (before taxes) .Yummy but if you are starving after a trip to the beach, not your best option.
Pasta bolognese is scrumptious and was the fastest dish out of the kitchen. RM35 a plate Again its on the smaller side.
Surprisingly their best seller rendang sandwich, took so long to come out. I would have preferred my appetiser to be served prior to my main course. It has perfectly salted fries. It was delicious but definitely small on the portion size. RM30 a plate.
Atleast they dont charge you for water and its refillable.
Overall, i Wouldn't really dine here unless this was the last option available...
