If you’re looking for authentic Malay cuisine, here it is. I personally recommend everything on the menu. But my most favourite are Asam Pedas Ikan Tenggiri, Sambal Terung, Tempe berlada Ikan Bilis, kangkung Belacan & Bendi goreng and Ayam masak Kicap. This place is a to-go-for whenever I miss home or my mom’s food.

What’s special about this place is they operate and runs by siblings/ family. So the QC is always there. And they served VEGAN or Vegetarian version of any Malay dish they have on the menu!! They also served seasonal Ulams and hand pounded sambal belacan !!!!

The Ayam Penyet here is special too, they served with 2 type of sambal and Kuah masak lemak cili api !!!!!!!!!

We stopped by looking to get a nice local dinner. The food is very fresh and tasty and the staff is friendly and welcoming, also explaining the menu if you're unsure what to pick.

I took the masak Lemak ayam (getting a warning from the staff that its spicy) and it was very tasty. Very flavourful and the chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. It was definitely spicy but you can ask the staff for dishes that are safe for tourists 😉

My partner took the soy stir fry with sea bass which was also really nice, served with various veggies. We also took some garlic okra.
