Selera Pantai Langkawi — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

The roti sarang burung and other roti I ordered was dense and undercooked. The dough was not flaky in some parts and overall undercooked and the egg white clear. I did not finish my meal.

The nasi lemak did not come with ikan bilis and when I asked for some was told that the peanuts was mixed in with the ikan bilis and I get what is scooped. The only good thing was the sambal and everything else tasted like it was left out for too long.

The tehtarik did not have much foam and was well below average.

When I arrived there was not many customers but I still waited 23 minutes.

It's been a few days since we left Langkawi, but we already miss this place. During our stay, we went there almost every day for a late lunch. The conversations I had with the cheerful owner, Muhammad, and his kind family made our lunch time the most enjoyable time. The photos with them say it all. We loved the Nasi Lemak served with a spicy sauce here. Of course, I loved Roti, which comes in many varieties, as well as Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng. If we visit Langkawi again, we will definitely come here again. To meet them, and of course to eat many delicious food.

Came here because it’s the only place that opens earlier in the morning.

My experience was bad here, received bad service from the cook. They’ve got our order wrong, forgotten about the drinks.

And when I went to ask for a replacement, they just pointed and the order they got (which was clearly incorrect) and had an annoyed face without apologizing. I ordered toasts and eggs and they gave me Nutella on toast.

Not being mean to them, but they seem to not treat local Chinese as good as other tourists and their race. Mix feelings about this place.
