Landcons Hotel Langkawi — Hotel in Langkawi Island

Hi hello there. If you looking this review this will be the one of the best place to stay at langkawi. The staff were good especially Miss MIMI. She will guide if you need anything. We go for review.

The room: Two single bed Queen bed Family room Family villa Honeymoon room.

Seems I’m a Google travel so I stay in Honeymoon which is big the normal room and it’s kind of kampung style. Village concept. My room at top floor level 3 face to the sea and can see sunrise in the morning.

At balcony you can have a nice coffee with your partner or cool beer with my relax. Inside the room got bathtub and the heater work fine.

The hotel: Exactly in-front of waterworld, duty free and MCD. Just cross the road. The hotel got two type of pool which open around 7am and close at 7pm . No night pool because the service with chlorine. One pool for kids with giant slide and many water games. If any kid on that pool they won’t come out for next 3hours. In the middle of the pool got nice tree house which parents mean to stay heaving meals and monitor their kids. Second pool for adult which nice.

The cleanliness : The hotel inside and outside always look clean and monitor by their staff.

Meals: I never try meals maybe they never have any cafe around there .

Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi it’s not excellent enough for roaming. Plus the tv channel it’s not clear enough.

Utility: Only towel available and coffees available. No shampoo or bathing stuff plus toothpaste.

Anyway this hotel never provide carpark so you can park your car anywhere around this place. From my stay I didn’t got any ticket from local enforcement but it’s doesn’t mean the law doesn’t implement. Their are a lot of signboard but based on my experience I didn’t get ticket. You need to pay RM3 for local langkawi contributions to the hotel. The hotel give an official recipient.

You can bring your couple for honeymoon dates to but you have to inform them so they will do the surprise things for you.

It's decent hotel if you are looking for just to lay down at the night and want to access night market without travelling much.

Rooms are clean and big with amenities such as TV, refrigerator, bath towels, jug, few cups and few coffee powder kit. There were no other bathroom items for use. There is common water dispensary in the floor and you can take water using jug. There is a prayer room for Muslims in 1st floor and can be accessed by both inside and outside stairs.

Location pretty good. You can access both beach pentai cenang and pentai tengah in 5min bike ride. The hotel sits in one end of pentai cenang night market. You can access many duty free shops, different types of restaurants, cenang mall by walking. There are few super markets which stay open till very late. Other shops do close by 11 in the night and duty free shops by 10pm.

Coming to cons- hotel Wi-Fi is terrible. You won't even get range if you are staying in the end of the building like room no 18 and adjacent rooms. Even if you get range, don't expect pages to load. Hotel is not situated in beach facing location. You have to travel to beach.

Other than this it is a good stay if you don't mind getting WiFi and swimming pool. It's very good if you just want to keep your bags and lay down in the night after shopping in the nearby...

Horrific place to stay.Don't be fooled by by chalets. They're on the rooftop(3rd floor!), the walls are paper thin and you even can hear when your neighbour farts or the guy in the street talks. Scooters, bikes, people talking on the street, barking dogs and all other aounds guaranteed all night long. Next to chalets there is a big round table, in between of them. So on the first night we had a group of 10 guys who were having party over there and we weren't able to sleep until 2:30am.You won't be able to sleep if you will stay here. This hotel doesn't have Wi-Fi in the ROOMS!!! and yes it's a 2019. There was a huge cockroach in our room size of thumb. Last day of ours stay, the lift was off for the maintenance, at least staff brought our luggage down. The bathtub is in approx 90cm high( good luck if you're shorter person to get in). There is no shampoo or bath soap in the room. The price is +-150 MYR but for this price you definitely can find a better place to stay. DON'T STAY...
