Everytime we go to Malaysia we are always greeted by the land of smiling people. And Maroush was no exception. When we reached Maroush we were greeted by the cheerful smile of Mr. Raja who was polite, curteous and took down our order. On the walls were pictures of the resteraunter (Mr. Basheer) himself with all the celebrities who have visited. This includes famous personalities like Sharuk Khan!! While we were there we happened to meet him and we could tell he was really passionate about food and his restuarant. This came through in the food we ordered. The daal, butter chicken and Jeera rice was as good or better than what we get back at home in India. Having travelled the world, Indian food is always customised to suit local taste and ingridients. If ur looking for good Indian food and ambience then look no further. Best Indian food...
Read moreWe had a lovely lunch outing as a family and tried a variety of dishes including Dal Khichdi, Veg Fried Rice, Paneer Paratha, and Curd Rice, along with some refreshing drinks. Each item was flavorful and freshly prepared—especially the Dal Khichdi, which had a comforting, homestyle taste. The Veg Fried Rice was perfectly seasoned, and the Paneer Paratha was stuffed generously, crisp on the outside and soft inside. The Curd Rice was simple yet refreshing, a great way to end the meal.
There was a slight delay in the food being served, but it was well worth the wait. The taste more than made up for it, and the staff was courteous throughout. A great experience overall—definitely a place we’d visit again for a relaxed...
Read moreWe had a lovely meal here at Maroush Restaurant. They have a huge menu with loads of vegetarian options. We had a dhal tarka, a chicken butter masala, one basmati rice and 2 butter naans between us and everything was delicious (especially the butter naans!). I would also really recommend the mango lassi, it was so tasty and refreshing. The food arrived within 10 or 15 minutes so very quickly, and everything was served at the same time, which has been hard to find during our trip to Southeast Asia. The staff were friendly and we could order in English which we are very grateful for. The only thing that could be improved is the toilets - the ladies had no toilet paper. Overall a really good experience at Maroush...
