Melaka don’t really have tonnes of steak houses or western (authentic) places. So when we find a good one, we treasure it.
Lamb Rack (mid rare): 10/10 ⚡️ the first thing that’s obvious - the cook is perfect. Look at that pink centre with charred edge. U know it’s good. Together with the seasoning and the mint sauce. This is delicious. (Needs more mint sauce tho!
Australin Sirloin steak: 7.5/10 This one i felt missed the mark slightly. Especially the cook, because the cut is thinner, so the timing is abit tricky. But the flavouring is great. I personally enjoy a good quality steak with subtle flavorings to really showcase the ingredients. So this is the type of presentation. Some might find it too simple or bland.
Iberico ribs: 6/10 While the flavors of the ribs were great - smokey, barbecue-y and salty. The ribs were a little tough. Ok.. slightly more than a little. And the fat cap is not trimmed and rendered.
Eryngii in Olive oil: 10/10 ⚡️ This is the ‘piece de resistance’. It was a shocker because it was so so so good! Fragrant garlic and chili infused olive oil, with the delicious eryngii just sitting there invitingly. Perfection. Must order!
Mushroom soup: 8.5/10 If you like a chunky mushroom soup - this is it! Flavorful and delicious.
Overall score: 8.4/10 Bonus score: 0.6/10 for the ambience and service - very friendly and accommodating staffs here. Clean and cosy environment.

Need to call and tell them 3 time for 2 cups of water to arrive. There's time where I need to just get up and go to the counter cause the waiter is just not paying attention. we waited almost for 1.5 hour for the main course to be served while the other that just came was served the earlier than us. The food is not worth the price and actually overrated. The mushroom soup was okay but over season with black pepper. The starter is average at best nothing special, taste like u can make it at home. Steak was tough even tough is the Australian beef cooked to medium rare while some part is still rare. The pork is alright but still tough to bite. The dessert is the worst, is come with 4 small pcs of cake and ice cream still inside the container. And also gave us children's cutlery for the dessert. We ordered Salmon Trout Pesto pasta, Grilled Seabass, Sirloin Steak, Bacon asparagus and Rotisserie Chicken Chop. Firstly Salmon is not trout but that dish was edible. The seabass was not fresh and very smelly so changed for the chicken which was ok. The steak was tough and chewy and the meat was also not fresh. Bacon and asparagus was just edible not great. The only thing that could make people think the food is good is the presentation. Also all sides that came with the 3 different kinds of meat we ordered came with the mushroom slices! How could that 1 side go with all the meat dishes? We did enjoy the latte and flat white. Will definitely NEVER come here again. They also did not have any cocktails...
