This restaurant located at the ground floor just before Food Junction is my usual sushi hangout for the past few years. And this visit was disappointing at all levels. I have not visited the place for about 2 months and I have noticed a change of menu card and also the food quality. The staff are attentive, ambiance is decent with a conveyor belt sushi system. I noticed the sushi plates on the conveyor is inconsistent. Some of them looked fresh, but some seems to be quite dry (indicating that it has been on the belt too long). The menu has been revised with additional items like aubergine (terung) and it is obvious the prices are a bit higher as well. Not only the prices seem to have absorbed the SST, there's an additional 10% service tax which has made everything expensive now. I ordered the salmon carpaccio and chicken nanban egg salad. The salmon in the carpaccio is smooth, but has significantly shrunk in size and volume. The chicken egg salad was okay, wished there was a bit more chicken in it (there were 4 pieces in the bowl). It's a shame that I have to give such a bad review as this place really was good before this. Hope the management can improve the service and food...

I have 2 points like to sharing:-
At that time my following sushi table rotation customer table has one girl staff lying down on a chair and watching a smartphone very loudly and noisy. She didn't care about others customers around...
The menu system is unbelievably very bad. Suddenly will offline off-screen? 3 people make an order offline a few times and the main menu has no design at all as feels like the children created it for unfriendly use. The book menu and the system menu is different what happening? (some of the book menu's foods didn't show in the system menu)
A few years ago I visit this Sushi King its bad service. A few years after the visit again more unbelievable and more terrible.
I never ever visit again this Sushi King...
Read moreThis place was a huge disappointment. We had to wait outside for a while until someone finally came over. We asked how the system works if we want to eat sushi from the conveyor belt. The staff member didnât say a word, just turned around and walked awayâpresumably to find someone who spoke English. Totally unacceptable behavior.
Eventually, another waiter came back and explained everything properlyâat least that part was decent. We sat down to check the menu, which is only available on a single tablet per table. Ridiculous, especially when youâre in a group. The system was super slow, laggy, with tons of items marked as âunavailable,â and the food was listed in a completely chaotic way.
The whole place had a terrible atmosphere and the ordering system was incredibly frustrating. In the end, we didnât even eat thereâit was honestly a joke. Would not...
