财记潮州酿豆腐 (Zai's Yong Tauhu) — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

We came here for an early weekday breakfast and found plenty of paid street parking available. By around 7:00am, the restaurant was already quite full. It’s a cosy spot, popular with locals. However, the tables weren’t very clean, so we had to wipe ours down with wet tissues.

You’ll need to queue at the stall, select your preferred Yong Tau Foo items, and when it’s your turn, order the type of noodles you want before heading to your table. We chose around 9–10 pieces of Yong Tau Foo and a bowl of dry lai fun with minced meat, and it only cost RM11.00.

Despite the crowd, the food was served quite quickly. Some of the Yong Tau Foo items are rather unique and seem to be available only here. Overall, the quality, taste, and price were above average. That said, the chilli sauce was on the sweeter side, which wasn’t to our liking.

Kudos to both the uncle and aunty running the stall – both of them were wearing face masks, aprons, and head coverings, which we truly appreciated for hygiene reasons. We’d definitely return if we happen to be in Seremban again, but wouldn’t make a special trip...
