Kensington Western Restaurant — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

Personally speaking, there is a Kensington market in Toronto, ON, Canada, so its name drawed my attention. It took 10 minutes from my hotel to this restaurant by car. The first impression of this restaurant was clean, feeling comfortable, family friendly atmosphere and well maintained with trees and flowers. For its menu, the beef stake seems somewhat expensive compared to the others in Seremban. So I had a chicken stake and a glass of iced coffee there, it satisfied me not only taste but also visually. For your information, it does not provide a draft beer but it has canned beer. You can see a white plate on every table with a knife stuck between the forks. It was somewhat unfamiliar to me. A nice and choice menu with local, western and fusion food. Price wise would be subjective as some items are imported but fresh. I was told by a long serving staff that he just got back from KLIA after collecting some crabs airflown from Sabah. Airflown, impressive.

Special mention to their catering team as their menu is slightly different from their restaurants and just as well prepared.

It was the worst western restaurant we have ever been to. Came with family. Asked for warm water however the server claimed that they don’t serve water stating that “No hot water, no warm water and no cold water”, where else on the other everyone was having glasses of water. I ended up ordered a glass of mango juice which is not fresh fruit juice as what is stated on the menu. It’s cordial which cost about RM11.50. Food is terrible, ordered sizzling chicken with ham and cheese but sauce is super salty, ordered a casserole roasted chicken which is not fresh.
