I do come here once a month for breakfast here.. usually the overall experience is decent. However today, along with impatient 4year old son. Things were not too pleasant. getting a waiter was already taking longer than usual to place my orders( the shop was not super packed) the waiter did a terrible job, especially with my small order which was one roti canai and one poori.. the poori was never sent to my table.. however those who came much later than I, had received their pooris.. so I had to call and remind. Than I received a cold flattened poori instead of a hot fluffy poori. My drink order was also wrong, but I decided to stay quiet.. as the waiter was new and a foreigner who could barely understand tamil or malay. Despite a senior waiter assisting the order.. it was still unsatisfactory.
While making my payment at the cashier before leaving.. I informed the owner, that the service today was bad. But instead of asking what exactly happened. She snapped back at me instead raising her voice ' don't say the service is bad, they are new staff and slow'. My point here is I had empathized and had forgo the delay and wrong orders. But it's also Important for the owners to know that service has been lacking.. I don't plan to come back here.. especially when owner was not ready to take feedback nor listening to my experience. Especially when she received my payment. And just walked away from the counter instead of giving me a better response.

Read moreTop curry house is hands down the best banana leaf restaurant in seremban, and I am brace to say the region. I've been to several other places and no one can beat them because of several reasons.
Banana leaf is built on varying bright colours and different flavours that compliment each other. Top curry house has the best selection of vegetables I've seen and are all very tasty. They don't skimp on cost and have good choices such as the classic yellow cabbage and cucumber pineapple yogurt. But they also have sautéed eggplant, brocolli and cauliflower, all the more exclusive vegetables under the same price of one set of banana leaf set.
Their fish curry is only average but their chicken and lamb curry is very good, also their chicken varuval is to die for, bursting with spices and flavours.
Prices are very reasonable and the price of one banana leaf set is RM6.50, which is the same price that have been charged for 10 years.
The staff is very friendly and attentive and put effort to detail. Due to the good service, the place is very packed during peak hours with all types of races enjoying the food together.
Most importantly, the best indicator to a good banana leaf is that you leave satisfied and also happy, and top curry house never...
Read moreIndeed it lives up to the name! I dined here a few days ago with my family, everything tasted like home-cooked food, which was surprising being a packed place. Normally as a restaurant of such standards start to receive more customers, the food quality would decline but no....this place still maintains the same quality and service was fast! Everything seemed organized and waiters tend to attend customers as soon as they are called. Food was delicious! There's was an elderly man who constantly watch over the tables to see if they needed anything, the owner perhaps. Truly loved the hospitality and felt like they really care for their customers. Went back again in the evening for a cup of the old cow milk Bru coffee. It was so hearty and warm. Definitely would come back to savour more! Don't be startled by the crowd, despite being so packed, their service is on par to excellence and there's sufficient food as well at all times. Not to forget, there are lots of vegetarian...
