Sorry, the best I could give a 2 stars to them. Couldn't had been more disappointed except for the place in seramban, 'Negeri sembilan. The disappointment was such that giving more than 2 stars was a sin or a disservice to myself and you folks out there. Arrived at noon and was quickly shown a place. After being seated, we proceeded to order from the huge thick menu handed to the 5 of us. The speed at which the 1st 2 dishes came caught me by surprised, a plate of glass noodle and another sheng mee.. It came out in at less then 4 minutes, after we ordered. Bad omen then fell upon us. Both Plate of noodles equally tasted flat and tasteless next came was their signature dish their salted roasted crabs and then their superior soy prawns. Both did was a disappointment as well. The prawns were very tiny in size and lacked the necessary cooking skill involved . Mind you the prawns weren't exactly fresh, some had their heads seperated during cooking.. Our ultimate disappointments came with the duck. We were told they had roasted duck but when my son tried it, his remzrks were, what is it? It came with a bed of thick sauce underneath the duck. What was more shocking was accompanying the duck was a sauce we've never came acrossed before anywhere. It was orangy yellow thick sauce which do not resemble chilly or sweet sauce. What was even more disgraceful was that the roasted duck was chewy and bland in taste. And up upon the side wall was shown proudly stood their 5 heavenly cooks. Dear oh dear the quality of these cooks were aplenty in KL and to make a brunch trip to seramban was totally lost out of the window in seconds With all honesty I've never given such horrible review before and this place seemed to fit prefectly the bill. The captain on top had a bad personality that even son gave him a mention at being rude and crude. Total disaster here. Going back again, never, recommending others, a...

We recently visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The food quality was subpar and far from fresh.
⢠The clay pot stir-fried pork belly with salted fish had an overpowering rotten smell. When we raised our concern, the captain dismissed it as the salted fish aroma. As seasoned diners familiar with this dish, we knew something was offâit shouldnât smell like spoiled meat.
⢠The vegetable soup was excessively salty and loaded with MSG. The century egg tasted far beyond its prime, with a pungent odor that was hard to ignore.
⢠The salted egg deep-fried mantis prawns were both hard and soggyâan unfortunate combinationâand lacked any real flavor.
⢠The clam soup was equally disappointing, with clams that were clearly not fresh and carried a strong fishy smell.
⢠The so-called signature BBQ crab was a letdownâcompletely tasteless and poorly seasoned. It lacked the bold flavors one would expect from a dish that claims to be a house specialty.
To make matters worse, when we voiced our concerns, the staff responded with unpleasant and dismissive remarks. Their attitude made us feel as though we didnât know how to appreciate the food, which was both insulting and unprofessional.
We left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Sadly, we wonât...
Read moreThis place has bad history of missing claws for their crabs! Incident happened many years ago when we came here with our guests - it was a bad experience. Fam decided to give them another try recently and again the same thing happened depsite us specifically "warn" them not to repeat the same thing.
When the crabs arrived, we noticed one of the claws missing and we asked the guy who took our order to have a look. Funny thing was he asked me if I already ate it? What you trying to prove here?? I ate the whole claw along with it's shell?? He called what we thought was the boss or the chef, and that dude didn't apologize, but he offered to take the cost of that ONE CLAW out from the total bill. So they actually knew what's up and didn't admit it?
They didn't even bother to apologize and treated us with the worst attitude. Eventually we got them to replace the entire plate of crabs.
Giving them two stars because the fish there was good! My favorite pak sou gong (catfish) was fresh - probably the best dish that night! Total bill came up to ~MYR370 for 5 pax. Felt it was alright but didn't want to deal with the recurring drama anymore. Will never return...
