鸡煲之家 Chicken Claypot House Cameron Highlands — Restaurant in Pahang

Service is lacking and food is not not nice. Stood outside the entrance for a good 10 minutes without anyone attending to us. Only 1 worker cleaning tables and doing hia best to pretend he cannot see us even though my dad walked in to signal to him.

No one will bother to let you know what the restaurant is serving even though you let them know that you are a first time customer.

Finally ordered the Signature claypot chicken and signature herbal soup chicken based on staff's recommendation as we stared at the menu for a while.

The staff also did not inform us that there was another menu and there was also no one to take our drinks order.

The chicken in both dishes was tough and dry. The pieces were haphazardly chopped up making eating the chicken really difficult. Also, there was an unpleasant smell of the chicken in the signature claypot chicken.

Lastly, the wait staff also did not inform us that there was a condiment bar. I only found out...

Im a big fan of 鸡公煲之家 since I always went to JB branch, so this time I come to CH, food is nice as usual, environment is good, is just that the service need some improvement. Usually we order by using marker pen tick tick tick on the menu, but this time we don't have the pen, so I'm not sure the only chinese guy in the restaurant is he the manager? He came to me ask what to order, after I said "one small 鸡公煲 no spicy" then he said ok and just went off like that? Me and my bf was like???????? We haven't finish my order leh???? then he start "act busy" I don't know what is he busy for? because it was just about 5:20pm and there's only 2-3 table of customers. The restaurant was not well prepared with the long weekends crowd. We went there and ordered chicken pot and pepper pork belly soup. The soup was ok but most of the items we ordered all sold out and it was only 6pm or so. It was not well organised and the arrangement for our tables was not good.
