Wild Thai Mookata & Steamboat — Restaurant in Pahang

Indeed very nice charcoal mookata, ingredients were nice, meat options were nice and very well flavoured.

We've selected the Mookata set for 2-3 person which cost RM121 in total with 2 big glass of herbal drink.

Ingredients were good, I love their Char Siu meat which is sweet. The soup were well flavoured enough and worthy to try indeed. I would recommend you to add on noodle to ensure a full meal but nevertheless their existing portion is good enough for two.

However I would propose to put on a piece of oil paper to cover the grill to prevent the burnt carbon sticking on the grill which needs troublesome cleaning or replacement, just cover the center grill with the bleached oil paper, grill your favourite food on top then that would be...

Came on a Thursday (6:30pm), and had to leave our phone number as it was full. Within 30 mins, they called us and we got a table.

We ordered the 2-3 pax set and top up for the Red Tom Yum soup. For drinks, Red Thai Milk large. Total about RM 120+ for the whole meal. Oh, also they gave us free watermelon slices to end the meal :)

Within the set there’s 6 types of meat, and the mama noodle was such a great addition to the Tom yum soup. Also, the green chili sauce was spicy but so refreshing and good. Worth the pain 🥹

There’s also unlimited bihun and cabbage.

When we arrived, two large tables were available. However, a staff member told us they were for eight people and asked us to wait 30 minutes for a smaller table. Despite this, after we were seated for a while, we observed another staff member immediately accommodate a couple at one of the same large tables.

We ordered a couple's set for RM88 and upgraded to the white tomyam soup for an extra RM12. Unfortunately, the soup was disappointing; it was spicy but lacked the sweet and savory flavor we expected. The marinated pork was also too salty.

While the three types of dipping sauces were a highlight, the overall food quality was average, and we felt it wasn't a good value...
