Sinar Hijjaz Steamboat & Grill. — Restaurant in Pahang

For the price at rm30 it is not value at all.. i still can get 28.90 full set of steambot with 40++ menu enlisted back in my town. No choice of vege like broccoli or cauliflowerand ect.. it is kind of weird since located on cameron highland well know for its agriculture produce. The selection was poor, the sauces worst, and the environment even worsen. The instruction was not very clear that you have to make payment first before climbing up the stairs to the upper floor where the steambot was. No sign at all. The setting table was hazardous to customer. Theres a crack marble surface which in black used to put water containers. The fridge used for frozen sefoods ball was dirty, ice cream contaoner dirty, as well as the few utensils.

Need to improve in many ways, do not focus on making money instead focus more on customer satisfaction. Right customer need and oriented making your company even succesfull in future.. until then, Sinar Hijjaz was a big failure to me....

It is near to our hotel (Cocoon Hotel).

The price is considered cheap for steamboat buffet. RM30/adult and RM20/child.

Want to try different steamboat restaurants. Before trying Highland Steamboat at Tanah Rata and Kokak Mookata Steamboat at Taman Sedia.

Pros Variety of marinated lamb (BBQ, black pepper), beef (BBQ, black pepper, masala), chicken (BBQ, black pepper, masala). Variety of drinks, vegetables.

The green chilli sauce is worth trying.

Easy to find parking

Not crowded.

Cons Limited seafood choice. Prawn and crab not serving.

Lack of workers? The receptionist is the same person to prepare the stove, pour the soup.

There are only two flavours of ice cream.

I just hope they prepare thin slice and plain beef/chicken to put...

The cheapest steamboat you can find in Brinchang or Cameron Highland which only costs RM 30 per head. But don't expect a fancy type of seafood and meat. It's just a simple one for those who have a tight budget and craving for a steamboat. The choice is limited especially for seafood and meat. The taste is okay, the soup and marinate is just average. They also served nasi goreng and few types of drinks and desert. The service is also decent, they play a great type of music. The place is also huge and can fit a lot of people and quite clean. During our visit, there were not many people eating here. This restaurant provided toilet and prayer room so no need to worry or rush while eating here. Overall you just can't expect much from here with this price...
