We had booked for table and reserve 3 crab each RM20. While we reached and place order other dishes with an old aunty waitress (Firstly is my 1st time visit this restaurant, 2nd i didnt know what they have other dishes in their menu so i wanted to request menu from the waitress but she said no need see menu cos they are quite full and pack in kitchen). Ok fine, we just ordered whatever we know those standard dishes such as fried brocoli, sweet & sour pork, fried omelette. As we know and understand all restaurants will be crowded and pack in kitchen. So we can wait till the dishes come. It take about more than 45mins. But end up they still miss out 1 dish which is sweet & sour pork, and we almost finish all dishes and rice. And ask them cancel the pork, they said they cooking now. But we still exist to cancel on it cos already 945pm (we reached there at 8pm, only 3 of us 2A1K) So this will be my 1st and also last visit to this restaurant. FYI, if you wanna come to have dinner in this restaurant, better advice call n order all dishes that you want. If not, u just walk in and order it make take longer times. Read moreHad our dinner here. Not a favorable experience for my party. In terms of food, all is good. Flavor is nice.
But the service is bad. We arrive at 8pm for our Friday dinner. Immediately after we were seated, an elderly captain (order taker) came and rushed us into ordering our food. We hardly have the time to look thru the menu. It was very intimidating of her to reluctantly answer our questions on the dishes and made us feel as if we are taking up her time.
So, in the end, we went with her suggestion of dishes and we made sure that she repeats her order to us and the sizes we ordered. It was a straightforward order as we ordered all in small size as our party consists of only 5 pax.
However, when the food arrived, we were shocked that the portion is huge and when we confronted her, she said these are their standard portion.
The clam porridge came with 2 L size crabs that she somehow missed out to inform us on. This is not the way to upsell your business having been running it for 3 generations.
In the end, we have to take away most of our food as we do not want it to go wasted.
