There are a few cafes by the same name in Kuantan, but somehow we are more drawn to this particular one. Being located at the corner lot, and highly visible from the main road had probably influenced our choice. But so far it had not disappointed us.. We had been here before, and my wife kind of like the choices of food being offered. She quickly requested for the Wanton Hor, which is our favorite food during our stay in Ipoh. I was quite hesitant to try the same, as I was adamant that they cannot match the taste of our highly favored Ipoh mali dish..And rightly so, as my wife ended up not finishing her food. Luckily, I ordered the Penang Char Koey Teow, which was not that bad...

I am giving 2 stars for their staff friendliness. Although the coffee (kopi classic) taste not bad (because I can get this taste in KL too), but the price is so far the highest I've ever had...and seriously never expect this pricing in Kuantan, I am still in SHOCKING MOOD. A normal coffee with milk (kopi classic) cost RM7.20 excluding GST, I think this price is WAY OVER CHARGED simply because a "Classic" was added in the menu. Just because of this unfairness price, I am not setting my foot in again.

It seems there are a few various versions of this Kopitiam. I saw there's another one nearby. No chance to try the other type of food, but definitely will be back here. All other stuff looks good. If you read the reviews for this place, Wat Tan Hor looks interesting. So does the Nasi Lemak or Nasi Dagang or Nasi Ganu (short for Terengganu, I think). I followed the advice of one of the reviewer, Coffee, Eggs and Toast only for me this round. Verdict - 👍🏽
