Restaurant Mei Hiong — Restaurant in Pahang

We came with reservations for a large group of over 20 people, including 6 kids (split into 2 tables). The staff were quick in taking our orders, but the waiting time for food was quite long. We had to wait at least 30–45 minutes before the dishes started coming out, and everyone was getting hungry.

The lady boss is quite impatient, the menu is all in Chinese on the wall. When she repeated the menu of the dishes, she sounded frustrated. All the dishes are very delicious except for the fried bitter guard. I feedback to her that it’s very salty but she replied me saying there are many customers (but only less than 5 tables) and hence it’s salty!! She definitely doesn’t know how to pacify her...

Fresh seafood, especially the steamed string ray. The salted fish pork taste great, and stir fry vege are good. Kam heong lala is too chunky.

KL price, considering the portion. The male owner will upsell alot of dishes and the female dishes will brag about what they use and how special their sauces are.
