I've had the pleasure of dining at Restoran Mualaf twice now, and both experiences have been fantastic! This place has quickly become a favorite, and I can't wait to go back.

On both visits, I was hoping to try their famous Chicken Rice, but alas, it was sold out due to its popularity. The good news is the owner, incredibly kind and helpful, suggested I call ahead next time to pre-order. That's a tip I'll definitely be taking!

Their à la carte dishes are simply divine. Today, I indulged in the Ayam Telur Masin, Kerabu Pucuk Paku, and Tauhu Special, and every single dish was absolutely mouth-watering. The Ayam Telur Masin truly stood out – the chicken was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection, resulting in a dish that was rich and satisfying. The Tauhu Special was another highlight, and I was impressed to learn from the owner that they make their own tauhu telur in-house, which explains its exceptional taste and texture.

Speaking of the owner, their warmth and willingness to suggest dishes really add to the dining experience. It's clear they're passionate about their food and their customers.

Beyond the delicious food and friendly service, the prices are acceptable for the quality and generous portions you receive. The restaurant itself is also well-kept and clean, making for a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

my dad is friends with the owner. he used to have 2 franchises, one in raub and the other in kelantan. we have been looking for him for YEARS since they closed down during covid. i still remember being a picky eater as a kid but i NEVER said no to their nasi ayam. it was so so good. 7 years later, we are here again. my dad reunited with him. unfortunately, we arrived at 6pm so there was no nasi ayam since they only serve it during lunch. so we had their masakan panas, nasi goreng ikan masin and ayam lemon instead. and surprise surprise, THEY ARE SO GOOD TOO 😭😭 so no, it is not just nostalgia. this restaurant is really just THAT good. friendly owner & employees, great ambiance, fast service, amazing food, topped with a very clean toilet as well. we will be coming back with the whole family next time to try out their nasi ayam. dear owner, i hope life treats you kindly and you achieve whatever you strive for in life. your nasi ayam will forever have a special place in...
