I reached this non-airconditional restaurant on weekdays at about 12pm. 90% of the tables were occupied. Table service for ordering and serving within 10 minutes upon ordering
Golden toast RM3.70 with kaya and butter was outstanding. The bread was crunchy, and kaya was full of the fragrance of coconut milk. 4 stars
The signature cham (mixture of milk, coffee, and tea) was aromatic and addictive. Even I ordered a less sweet version, but it was still too sweet to our liking. 2 stars
Signature wat dan ho 滑蛋河 was poorly made. The broth was too diluted. The noodles were lack of wok hei. RM9 per serving. 2 stars
Half boiled egg was delicious, but I would still prefer the version at tongnambee, which was a bit solid on the egg yoke. 3 stars
Total bill for 1 person lunch at about RM15. I would only go for golden toast and coffee next time and definitely...

We had our favourites: Hainanese cham and Hainanese teh, along with their cake of the day and their well-known golden toast. Definitely planning to come earlier next time I’m in Raub — would love to try their full menu if I...
