We came to Cameron Highlands on weekdays to avoid unnecessary stress for a pleasant 3 days vacation. Simpang Pulai was our entry point toward CH as we came down from the north of Malaysia. Road leading up the highlands was wide but still a winding road up, one can experience some car sickness, so be prepared.
Our accommodation was in Brinchang and we picked OK Tuck Steamboats restaurant to have our dinner. We like it so much the second night decision on where to have our dinner was quite easy to choose..... we came back again. The dishes we ordered here were great to all of our 10 people’s taste. The fish-head curry was a hit to us. I would recommend this restaurant if you are putting up in Brinchang.
Parking spaces in the evening was not an issue and in this vicinity there is a supermarket where you can pick up some supplies to head back.
Both nights we were served by the lady boss, a pleasant lady and courteous person. As I was sitting facing the wall poster, I noticed that this restaurant has quite a long history. The couple’s younger days picture was in the poster.
Price wise, I would say reasonable and that also depend on what dishes one orders. Overall it was a pleasant 2 nights dining experience at this restaurant. Hope readers who read this would also be pleasantly happy dining here like...

Finding good Chinese food or steamboat in Cameron Highlands isn’t easy, but I recently visited this restaurant and here’s my feedback:
✅ Pros: 🔹️Affordable Steamboat – RM30 per person, we had 5 people, ordered a 2-pax steamboat plus some Chinese dishes, and it was more than enough.
🔹️Delicious Food – The steamboat soup (Tomyam) and side dishes were tasty and satisfying.
🔹️Friendly Service – The lady boss was very warm and welcoming, which made the experience more pleasant.
⚠️ Cons: Flies Issue – A bit distracting while eating, especially for families.🪰
Sweet & Sour pork: Not crispy.
Limited Parking – Parking can be a challenge, especially on weekends when the area gets busy.
💡 Overall: If you’re craving Chinese steamboat in Cameron Highlands, this spot is definitely worth a try for its tasty food and friendly service. Just be prepared for...

Summary : Neglected customer's order, Bad attitude, not worth your money
We understood that Good food worth the wait. But Sadly is they tend to serve bigger tables first instead of small tables (lesser head-counts maybe? we dont know)
When we ask why does the other table served first? all we got is because we came late. (when the time we arrived, theres no people sitting outside yet) which we already waited for an hour.
What disappoint us is the owner (lady) keeps neglecting the fact that she put our order after the ones that arrived later than us and all we want is just a genuine feedback on this. Instead she insist that it was our fault
But waiting for an hour with an empty stomach during lunch hour was a bad experience indeed....
