We waited 45 minutes for our food to be served after ordering, and one of the dishes was forgotten (this was remediated quickly). But, it was all delicious! Small portions were perfectly sizeable for a normal dinner portion (and I eat a lot) and it was all very reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed my sweet and sour Mantis. In the photo is Melaka fried noodles (meet and shrimp fried noodles) and sweet and sour Mantis. The picture doesnt do the portion size justice. These dishes cost 7RM and 16RM respectively. Only other downside was that the toilet was pretty gross, but we've learned not to have great expectations throughout...

We found this place off the tourist traps because we have local relatives who researched well. The overall experience was good even though it started off less than ideal when the female owner manager was clearly flustered and stressed when we arrived with our big group just after they opened for lunch. She finally composed herself with vastly improved attitude after she finally settled down and got on top of dealing with walk-in customers and those who come for pick up etc. We enjoyed the home style cooking, including the delicious soup. Considering the limited restaurants that serve Chinese food in Tanah Rata, this place is a good find. It is located at the ground floor of an apartment block. Parking may be difficult, so, walking from wherever you are may be a better idea, especially during holiday season. Food is good, price is reasonable. The tables are limited, so best to make reservations. Waiting for the food to be served could be long but it's ok for us, we are not in a hurry to go anywhere since we're there...
