Abu Bakar Mosque — Attraction in Pahang

Many time have been here weekdays and weekend, my favourite rest place. It's been renovate and not suitable (car and above) to park near the mosque building due to limited space and steepy roadside. Ample parking area is located on the left hand side 2nd small road after mosque building. Beware when cornering to enter parking Area, use horn or high beam because it is limited for eyesight, steepy small road +- 9 feet wide. Recommended for refreshment and rest for traveller. Very Clean Tidy Mosque. Visitor friendly. Azan 5 times a day on speakers. Lots of tazkirah program - look up the notice board at the main prayer room. Special car park for oku/disable just outside the mosque steps. They allow visitors to setup tents at the car park overnight and use the mosque facility. Especially the lower cost budget travellers from out of town. But being in Cameron Highland, be ready to hike up and down to go to the mosque prayer hall. Nothing bad actually to say about a mosque, especially this one.

Pros: Spacious main prayer hall. Additional prayer room for travellers at the back if the main prayer hall is closed.
