Glory 78 Steamboat Snack Corner(bamboo biryani) — Restaurant in Pahang

I've read other reviews before writing this and was surprised to see overall good impressions from other customers. Giving it 1 star only due to;

Unfriendly and inefficient servers. Ordering foods after we sit was good and smooth but afterwards we had our orders came late to the table and received our iced tea WITHOUT sugar in it. Called a server to address both issue and you know what they did? Passing my questions and call other server to attend us instead. It went on for 5 servers before we actually have someone that can solve our problem. Lack taste in foods. Not sure what went wrong in the kitchen but the foods are not that satisfactory for a decently rated place. And to add they have 2 foods with different names but came out from kitchen as a literally identical food, case in point is the Nasi Ayam and Nasi Rempah Chicken Wing. I didn't get to order the bamboo briyani and I think I should've ordered that instead. Other reviews are mainly about it and I guess that's what carrying the restaurant along with the steamboat.

Wouldn't be writing this long if I came here alone. Had to give my piece as I was with my parents and we were exhausted after a long day.

TLDR; eat here if you guys are that hungry or just want to have a good time with the steamboat and bamboo briyani. Some might face unlucky experience like me but don't let that stop you guys from filling your stomach after a long journey. Restaurant is located in a strategic place imo so feel...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Glory 78 Steamboat & Snack Corner in Tanah Rata, and I must say that both the service and the Chicken Briyani exceeded my expectations.

Service:

The staff at Glory 78 were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile, and my order was taken promptly. The food arrived in a timely manner, and the staff frequently checked in to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Their hospitality made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Chicken Briyani:

The Chicken Briyani was absolutely delicious! The long-grain basmati rice was perfectly cooked, infused with aromatic spices that gave it a rich and authentic flavor. The chicken was tender, well-marinated, and bursting with taste, complementing the fragrant rice beautifully. The portion size was generous, making it well worth the price. The dish was also served hot and fresh, enhancing its overall appeal.

Overall Experience:

First,I went to the souvenirs shop,I want to ask the pillow price but guess what, the staff there showing hand to me and busy doing something...he doesn't even look at me,or say I'm sorry Ms,5 min..something like that. He just lost 1 customer. I really want to buy but because of his attitude,I cancel. Next,I sit down at this restaurant..food is nice but the service is very sucks. The waitress should learn and be more friendly about how to treat customers. I went there to eat and I PAID!!!!it's not for free...when I want to pay, guess what,the cashier is the same guy who ignored me in the souvenirs shop. With his cap and specs, I am not sure if he is Chinese or where he comes from. He is very rude ya. When I asked how much...he just knock the cash machine showing how much to me without looking at my face. Is that the way you treat customers???weeeei.....aku bayar lah walaupun lalat dah masuk my desert ....sebab raya aja aku diam....manager or owner,pls take note on this..if u are the manager,u are the worse manager ever...very very very rude....that will be the first and the last I will eat there. About lalat,pls lah letak.lilin kecik tu ke or tak nak terbakar...letak lah cili kering....cari lah jalan supaya...
